IIT Dhanbad Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Internship offers start for students after the 4th semester and placement starts after 6th semester. You may also get a Pre-placement offer from the company where you intern. Last year, the highest CTC offered for CSE was 55.51 LPA with a 91% placement ratio.

The campus placements are pretty decent. On campus many companies come and recruit. Almost 70-80 percent students were placed in last year even though there was recession in the market. Total 909 offers were made by the 204 companies that visited the campus. The highest package was 59 lakhs. Major companies such as Google, Amazon,oracle,Goldman sachs,texas instrumentation, tata steel limited and many others, total of 204 companies visited the campus. Average package was 16.45 for the year 2024 and 16.98 for 2023. After getting the degree I will sit for placements and will try to get placed in a good company. After 5 semesters you can do interns and you may get pre placement offers at that time to. In 7 and 8 semester you can sit for placements but most companies come after the 7th semester before the beginning of 8th semester in the month of December.

There are both options weather on campus or off campus . The companies came and held interview session after having all test they select the students for job. The highest package recorded in last year was 58 lakhs.

In semester 7 or 8 students become eligible for campus placement there will be about 150-200 companies visit our campus and about 700-800 offers are availed. There will be 80-90 percentage of students gets placed in our college.

After you're 4th semester you can sit for internships provided by different companies. Career development centre (CDC) which is our placement cell helps really in this process. Based on interships. Companies often give PPOs to the students. Highest package was 58 lakh per annum with average pacakage of 15 lakh per annum. 90-95% successfully gets placed from our college

IIT(ISM) Dhanbad have a very good placement stats as of the latest 2024 average package is 16.45 Lakh/year which vary slightly every year .in 3rd Year students also get Internship oppurtunities which give a full on experience to the students.Students who are in 4th year are eligible for campus placement. there are many national and international companies hire student like Google , amazon and many more.Nearly 90% of students gets placements every year on campus .Some students take off campus also.My plan is to take a good package in my 4th year of Btech.

The average package of the college is above 25 lakhs. Top companies like Google ,Amazon, Flipkart ,Goldman Sachs,Sprinkler, Wallmart, DE Shaw, Uber, American Express, Microsoft, and much more are invited to the college by carrier development centre of our college for internship and placements. Students can get internship from 2nd year of the college and based on their performance in company, they can get pre placement offer at the starting of final year. At the end of final year most of the students get placed in companies. Last year 140+ students out of 160 in CSE got placed in top MnCs. Highest package is of 1.3cpa , a ML student who got offcampus placement and lowest is 8 lpa. Some of the students after graduation goes for higher studies.

It has got a average package of 17LPA. It provides placement opportunities equally for all the branches in the college and colleges provies very good packages and facilities for even the lower branches. The college provides additional facilities for female students.

From third year students are eligible for placements.They get internships in third year and get placement offer in final year.Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe and so many companies visit IIT ISM.Placement percentage is 75%.

Most of the students graduating from here go with a satisfactory ctc.But I think core branches have more opportunities in placement compare to other colleges.students will be eligible for placements from 6th semester.More than 80% of the students are annually placed.As of the 2024 placement session,the highest package is 56 lpa and the average package is 16.8 lpa.
