IIT Dhanbad Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Placement statistics are excellent with highest package of 1 cr+. Students become eligible for campus placements from the seventh semester. Giant companies like Google, Arista networks, Microsoft, Reliance, Amazon, Adobe, etc are some of the recruiters. The highest package is INR 1cr and the average is approximately 20 lakhs per annum. 97%of the students are placed. I will be working as a software engineer in a big tech company after pursuing my bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering.

From the 7th semester, students become eligible for campus Placements. All big companies like Google(10 offers), Microsoft (15 offers), Sprinkle(12 Offers), Amazon (16 Offers), Flipkart ( 5 offers), Goldman Sachs ( 7 offers), American Express ( 8 offers) etc. come to IIT ISM Dhanbad. The highest package was 55 lakhs by DE Shaw in the Software engineer profile, the average package was around 20 Lakhs in other profiles like analyst, consultant etc More than 91 Percent got placed. On-campus placements are provided to pretty much everyone in the college. With one of the highest percentages of students getting placed, yet the average CTC offered is not up to loving standards, a lot of students opt for higher studies and IAS preparation after college.

Placement stats are pretty good for Software companies also and for other branches like Earth branches it's also good. Giants like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Atlassian, Sprinklr, and Deshaw consistently visit the campus giving huge opportunities.

After the 6th-semester examination companies started to come for placement basically the first resume shortlist and the coding round begins after that from December interview process starts every year. lots of companies like Microsoft, and Google also come for hiring.

I am always eager to learn about new technologies and that's why I have chosen the computer science and engineering course. The student radio in my college is very very bad :( Qualification of the faculty is good but is not that much interesting as I thought before taking admission into the IIT.

The college is known for its strong track record of placements will stop the placement process usually begins in the final semester of the program and students become eligible for campus placements from the final semester. The percentage of students getting placements is generally high with the majority of students securing job offers before graduation.

College offers both placement and internship opportunities on campus. 3rd-year students can apply for internships. many multinational companies visited the campus like GOOGLE, Facebook, Samsung, Amazon, Flipkart, Goldman Sachs, and many others. the highest international package offered is about 90 lakhs per annum and the domestic is about 49 lakhs per annum.

In the seventh semester students who want placements have to register for every company they want to place in. First, there are online coding rounds are there and then on 1st December interviews are there if you qualified in the coding round. Many companies came in placements like google, amazon, Flipkart, uber, sprinkler, Goldman Sachs, and many more. Our highest package is 55 lahks D.E.Shaw and the average is around 18 lakhs. More than 70% of students get placed if they want to get placement. I want to do the job after my degree and apply for a master's at a big university like Stanford.

The placements at the college are very good. Very big tech giants visit the campus and recruit many students. The median CTC of Pre placement offer was 30 LPA and that of Day 0 and day 1 of placement was 17 LPA. Talking about the CSE branch mostly all students got placed in the placement session. The major companies visited were google, Microsoft, Walmart, amazon, uber, sprinkler, etc.
