I liked the fests here.There are crazy events in fest.
Library is one of the most like places here.
Aquamarine hostel is like five star hotel.

Dislikes

Classrooms are good with well equipped facilities.
Gaala dinner is one of mind blowing dinner parties.
Grounds are very spacious so that everyone can enjoy campus life.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose CSE because of number of job opportunities.Some teachers teach fast and they skip some concepts because of less time and huge syllabus so I want to suggest that some syllabus should get deducted.Two exams will be conducted in each semester.One is mid-sem consisting of 6 exams and 2 hours for each exam and the other is end-sem consisting of 6 exams and 3 hours for each exam.

Class Size: 135Course Fees: INR 99000 per year

Internships Opportunities

I didn't participate in any internships.So I don't know about that.But the internships are very good for third year students.Blockchain, electric cars are some of the projects working on.And finally Robo project also going on.Finally internships are very good.They provide sufficient stipened also.

Placement Experience

From third year students are eligible for placements.They get internships in third year and get placement offer in final year.Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe and so many companies visit IIT ISM.Placement percentage is 75%.

Fees and Financial Aid

Total tution fees is 100000 per semester.Hostel fees is 45000 per year and mess fees is 18000 per semester.Many scholarships are available for different sections like National Scholarship Programme,Ekalyan Scholarship,Merit cum Means scholarship etc.

Campus Life

Totally three fests are conducted in a year.Concetto which is technical fest,Srijan which is cultural fest and Parakram which is sports fest.In library so many books are available which are very essential and very good.There are many clubs available in ISM.Like robo ism,cyber security,live talks ism,we the crew,etc.

Admission

The admission process is through josaa.After passing jee-adavnced examination then I applied through online in josaa for admission into IIT's.The application fees is 40000.I belong to ews reservation section so I there are some reserved seats for me.There will be two exams conducted in jee- advanced.One is morning session and the other is afternoon session.Each session carries 180 marks with 3 hours for each session.

Placements start 6th semester. Companies TCS, Wipro, Deloitte and local companies. Average package is 4 to 5 LPA. I plan to work as a full stack web developer or i will also apply off campus for better softer roles.

Placement Experience:

From 5th sem students are eligible for placement. Name of the company I forgot but nvidia amazon comes each year and take some students Paypal offered 4 students 28 lpa and Swiggy gave 2 students 35 lpa Nvidia gave 2 students 25 lpa Highest package data is not out as of now Avg is good this year I guess it's was 12-13 lpa Percentage is I guess reality 60/150

Raw and real side of NIT JSR

Placement Experience:

One of the major advantage of my college is it's placement percentage and average package. For my branch placement percentage is our 80% and average package of my branch is 16.5 lpa this year. Highest package last year was of 1.44 crore from a company rubirik. I plan to work in a semiconductor manufacturing company like Texas instruments and qualcomm.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I will rate the course curriculum decent because it cover the basic engineering concepts that made me choose this course and it prepare us okay for real-world or higher study, but still more practical work and updated teaching method needed, and exams come mostly every semester with some internals which are moderate tough but manageable with regular study. There are some teachers who teach very well and have good teaching methods.

A Real Student Experience at DEC

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel the course curriculum is okay and the basics are covered well, which is one reason I choose this branch, but some subjects feel outdated and not fully connected to real industry work. It prepare us for further studies more than practical jobs. Exams come every semester with internals in between, difficulty is moderate but few papers become tricky. I think more practical topics, updated labs and better teaching methods will make the curriculum more useful...

A Comprehensive Journey

Placement Experience:

One of my colleges best features is its placements program, which offers fantastic chances for students to launch their carrers. In the fifth and sixth semesters, students are prepared with aptitude training sessions, group discussions, and resume construction. About 85% of qualified pupils were placed during the previoes school year. Compared to core engieering fields, placements rates were marginally higher in IT branches.

All You need to know about IIT(ISM) Dhanbad

As this is an IIT, To get admission here Firstly You have to take the JEE mains exam. At our time there used to be 4 rounds of the JEE Mains exam and Your maximum percentile among all 4 would be considered for a cutoff It was around 90% and to be eligible for give JEE advance Exam. The JEE advance exam happened in July, and its results were also released in August. After Qualifying JEE Advanced exam too you have to go through JOSSA counselling. In JOSSA counselling you have to give your list of colleges priority wise and you will be allotted college based on your AIR. After JOSSA counseling of 6 rounds, you will be allotted a college and then you will receive an offer letter from a college. For me, at IIT Dhanbad after taking admission firstly we were introduced to college through an orientation session with our respected director. After this we were called to campus for pre-registration for our course there we had to submit our documents and verify our identity. That's it !!...Read More
