Likes

the campus contains good faculty and wide range of books availability.
the campus placements are very good and this thing makes me happy
the infrastructure is very good and well equipped and i loved the campus full of greenary

Dislikes

there are not much many but the campus food is not much tasty
there are many dogs roaming this makes me feel bad
hostels are very far from the lecture campus

Placement Experience:

from 6 semister the people are eligible for jobs placements no of companies visited are approx 150 and around 600 offers wre made .the highest package is 51lakhs and average package was 17lakhs .the percentage of students placed was 75% .my plans was to get a good company

MY LIFE IN IIT

Likes

Professors were helpful , capable and professional.
Fests and religious festivals of all kinds being celebrated.
Seniors guidance and good place to network.

Dislikes

Lack of holidays for a break. The classes start right after mid sem exams.
Attendance is very strict. 75% is mandatory
Mess food is not that good. Given the fees for mess it is understandable but could be improved.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course for its placement statistics. One course has almost 150 students taken by one faculty. The faculty have esteemed cv with many publications and most of them are doctorates. The term exams were very application based and without a grasp of concepts it would be difficult to pass as per general iit standards.

Likes

I like the campus place ,greenery and beauty
I like the Fests conducted by college so we can have fun.
I Like the clubs in our college which encourage students to explore.

Dislikes

I dislike the outside of the campus its not such a good
We don't have tourist places near over campus.

Placement Experience:

After 5th semester student is eligible to get campus placements .Companies like Microsoft ,filpkart ,phonepe ,barclays ,BNY Mellon, in software side approach to our college .For CSE the highest package is 56 lakh last year and average of 25 lakh.We get arount 1100 job offers every year. Placement percentage is different for different branches for CSE it is 93.13%.MY plans are to get placed in good job within our country.

Dogs in the hostel areas were a discomfort

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose computer science and engineering. The teacher-to-student ratio is quite good. Exams are easy when we read but hard sometimes due to the difficulty and subject and the questions set by the teacher.

Likes

Competitive environment at students ,seniors , and juniors
Fests that happen from time to time in the college
Intern and placement statistics are pretty good

Dislikes

Mess food at the hostel is very disgusting
The facilities at the hostel are not up to that mark
The timing of classes are not that structured

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose the course because of its high placement . CSE placements are one of the highest among all the branches . Professors are highly qualified . And the teaching content align with my interest . Due to large number of students , the faculty to student ratio is very low . Exams are conducted two times in a sem apart from quizzes.

IIT(ISM) Review

Likes

The way seniors help juniors in their career and studies.
Hundred years of culture in this college
Central Library is one of the best place in this campus

Dislikes

Hostel food is not good enough for the students
Placements are less compared to other 1-tier colleges
Some internships due to their period of time are not allowed in this college

Placement Experience:

Students in 7th and 8th semisters are eligible for campus placements. Companies like Google, Microsoft, etc visit our college every year and hire a decent number of students. Highets package is around 5600000 and average package is around 1800000.

Truths Under IIT

Likes

Maintanance of campus as there is pollution outside
Bonding between junior and senior and commutiny stuffs
it is approximately hundred years old which is built by british

Dislikes

high strength of Computer science students
can be improveed in campus placemnets and interns
campus wifi as it is fluctuating sometimes

the palcements are quite good and decent .i do have a plans for preparing upsc if i could not get any job in campus placement .but i am quite confident about my coding skills and dsa .i also appear in contest and hackathons

Life at IIT(ISM) Dhanbad

Likes

Especially Culture at IIT(ISM) is auspicious that can'y be found elsewhere
The maintainance of clubs by students which are funded by campus
The resource we got here to study and learn anything, especially the environment

Dislikes

Many Students are addicted to drugs here which I didn't like
The infrastructure inside campus is somewhat low
The in-time for campus which restricts the students

Placement Experience:

1.Immediately after completion of 6th semester, students will be eligible for placements 2.Companies-Google,microsoft,Goldmansachs and many more 3.percentage of students getting placed-80% 4.My plan is to get a high paying job

ISM becomes IIT

Likes

Good Hostels and good food and good good campus life
Good energy in Campus always seek for learning something new
Good placement and good internship oppurtunities

Dislikes

mainly of fees there is only fee remission for them whose family income is less than 5 laks.
Girls:Boys ratio is not good in our campus
Exams are bit tough and not easier to get high CGPA

from semester 7 our campus students et eligible for placement and many companies visiting our campus mainly are Google , Microsoft, Oracle, Zepto and many more and around almost cse all get placed highest average package is 58 LPA and average is around 24 LPA arounnd 80% students of final years get placed.My plan of doin MBA after workin in two years in tech industry.

A fresher's review about IIT dhanbad

Likes

The architecture of buildings, placements
You will get discounts on your identity card outside the campus
Interactive and friendly nature of few seniors and clubs will help very much in academics

Dislikes

Ragging in this college happens and it's better if you maintain a good contact with some seniors to be safe from some toxic ones
The mess food here is not so tasty and if it's veg mess it's mostly aloo everyday
Campus is easily accessible for trains and doesn't have flight connectivity
