JAC 12th Result 2026 Out; Arts Stream Tops with 96.14% Pass Rate

The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has officially declared the JAC 12th Result 2026 for all three streams on May 6, 2026. The results are now available on the official websites jacresults.com, jac.jharkhand.gov.in, and results.digilocker.gov.in. Students can access their results by entering their roll number and roll code on the portal. The board has also activated the DigiLocker platform for result verification and marksheet downloads.

The Arts stream achieved the highest pass percentage at 96.14%, followed by Commerce at 93.37% and Science at 82.92%. A total of 3,22,341 students appeared across all streams, with 2,97,414 students passing the examination. The overall pass percentage stands at 92.27%. Rashida Naaz from Dhanbad emerged as the overall state topper with 489 marks in the Science stream.

Students must visit jacresults.com and click on the "ANNUAL INTERMEDIATE EXAMINATION -2026" link to check results. They need to enter their roll number, roll code, and select their stream (Science, Commerce, or Arts). After submitting the details, the result will display on the screen. Students should download and save their result for future reference and counseling processes.

The Arts stream demonstrated exceptional performance with 2,11,095 students appearing and 2,02,962 passing the examination. In the Commerce stream, 21,078 students appeared with 19,681 securing passing marks. The Science stream recorded the lowest pass percentage at 82.92%, with 90,168 students appearing and 74,771 passing.

Rashida Naaz from DAV +2 High School, Patherdih (Dhanbad) topped the Science stream with 489 marks (97.8%). Chhoti Kumari secured the first position in Arts with 478 marks (95.6%), while Sweta Prasad led the Commerce stream with 478 marks (95.6%)..

Gumla district led in Arts with a 99.52% pass percentage, while Latehar topped in Science with a 93.25% pass rate. In Commerce, Simdega district achieved the highest pass percentage at 99.57%. These district-wise variations indicate regional differences in educational infrastructure and student preparation. Students from top-performing districts can serve as role models for others.

Students who have passed can now prepare for higher education counseling and college admissions. The board will soon release merit lists for various colleges and universities. Students must keep their roll number, roll code, and result details ready for counseling registration. Those who failed in one or two subjects can appear for supplementary examinations later in the year.
