KMAT 2026 Session 2 registration deadline has been extended to May 10, 2026, by 5:00 PM. Eligible candidates can apply online at cee.kerala.gov.in for MBA admission in Kerala universities and affiliated colleges for the 2026-27 academic year.

The Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) Kerala has extended the KMAT Session 2 registration deadline to May 10, 2026, by 5:00 PM. Candidates seeking MBA admission in Kerala universities and affiliated management colleges can now apply online at cee.kerala.gov.in.
The extension provides additional time for eligible applicants to complete their registration process before the final submission deadline.
KMAT (Kerala Management Aptitude Test) Session 2 is the entrance examination for MBA admission in Kerala for the 2026-27 academic year.
The exam will be conducted in computer-based format across all districts in Kerala in May 2026, with the exact date to be announced by CEE.
Admission to MBA courses will be based on entrance examination marks (80% weightage), group discussion (10%), and interview performance (10%).

Both Indian and Non-Indian candidates are eligible to apply for KMAT 2026 Session 2, with no age restriction imposed. Applicants must have completed a Bachelor's Degree of minimum three years' duration in Arts, Science, Engineering, Commerce, Management, or equivalent qualification.
Candidates appearing for final year examinations are also eligible, provided their results are declared before the MBA admission process commences in 2026. The application fee for KMAT 2026 Session 2 is Rs. 1,000 for General and SEBC candidates, Rs. 500 for SC candidates, and free for ST candidates.
Candidates must register on the CEE portal, fill application details, pay the fee online using Internet Banking, Debit Card, or Credit Card, and upload a recent passport-size colour photograph and digital signature. After completing the submission, candidates can download the Application Acknowledgement Page for future reference.
KMAT 2026 Session 2 Exam Structure and Qualifying Marks
The KMAT examination will be conducted for 3 hours and consist of 180 objective-type multiple-choice questions, each carrying 4 marks (total 720 marks).
The question paper will cover English Language Usage and Reading Comprehension (50 questions), Quantitative Aptitude (50 questions), Data Sufficiency and Logical Reasoning (40 questions), and General Knowledge and Current Affairs (40 questions). One mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer.
General and SEBC candidates must secure 10% (72 marks) to qualify, while SC/ST/PD candidates need 7.5% (54 marks) for MBA admission eligibility.
How to Apply and Download Admit Card?
Candidates can apply online by visiting cee.kerala.gov.in and following the five-step registration process: registration, filling application details, paying application fee, uploading images, and printing the acknowledgement page.
Admit cards will be available for download from the official website on a date to be announced by CEE. Candidates must bring their downloaded admit card along with valid ID proof to the examination hall on the exam day.
What’s Next for Students
After the KMAT examination, CEE will release the provisional answer key and conduct the merit-based selection process. Candidates qualifying the entrance examination will proceed to group discussion and interview rounds conducted by respective institutions.
Final admission will be based on the combined performance in the entrance exam, group discussion, and interview. Candidates must produce original documents proving eligibility, nationality, nativity, reservations, and academic qualifications at the time of admission to the college or university.
