NMIMS Entrance Exam 2026 Phase 2 Schedule Out

SVKM's NMIMS has announced the Phase 2 schedule for its undergraduate entrance examinations for the academic year 2026-27. Candidates can register online at nmims.edu. The registration window remains open until May 26, 2026, with exam scheduling available from February 9 to May 29, 2026.

The entrance examination is categorized into four distinct test types: NMIMS-NPAT for Commerce, Economics, Liberal Arts, Branding, International Studies, and Family Business Management programs; NMIMS-CET for Engineering and Pharmacy programs; NMIMS-MST for Mathematics, Statistics, and Data Science programs; and NMIMS-LAT for Law programs.

Each exam is conducted in computer-based online format at authorized test centers, with no negative marking applicable across all categories. Candidates can attempt up to three times in any selected category (one main test plus two retakes), with the highest score considered for merit evaluation.

The registration process involves four simple steps: initial registration on the NMIMS portal, selection of test category and program preferences, payment of application fees (ranging from ₹2,000 to ₹7,000 depending on schools selected), and scheduling of exam date and test center.

Candidates must ensure they have their AAPAR ID or ABC ID (Academic Bank of Credits) details ready before filling the registration form, which can be created at abcidcard.co.in.

Once the exam is scheduled, confirmation emails will be sent from [email protected] to the registered email ID.

Admit Card Guidelines and Exam Day Instructions

Admit cards are generated automatically after exam scheduling and can be downloaded from the candidate's dashboard. Candidates must carry the admit card (hard copy) as primary ID proof along with any government-issued secondary ID such as Voter's ID, Passport, Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, or Driving License.

The photograph on the admit card must match the candidate's appearance at the test center, so uploading a recent photograph during registration is strongly recommended. Candidates should arrive at the test center at least 30 minutes before the scheduled exam time.

NMIMS Entrance Exam 2026 Phase 2 Document Requirements

Eligibility criteria require candidates to have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board with minimum 50% aggregate marks (45% for Engineering and Pharmacy programs).

Candidates appearing for their final 10+2 examination can also apply. The name on the Aadhaar card must exactly match the name on the NMIMS registration form and admit card.

International school candidates and those who completed 10+2 from overseas institutions must submit an AIU certificate of equivalence to confirm eligibility.

Merit List and Counselling Process

Merit lists will be declared in the first week of June 2026, considering both the computer-based test scores and qualifying examination results. Campus admission counselling will be conducted at NMIMS Indore, Hyderabad, and Chandigarh campuses in June, allowing candidates to attend counselling locally instead of traveling to Mumbai.

For admissions to Mumbai, Shirpur, and Navi Mumbai campuses, counselling will be conducted as per the schedule announced in the first week of June. Hostel accommodation is available on a first-come, first-served basis at select campuses, with compulsory hostel requirements for students at Indore, Hyderabad, Shirpur, and Bengaluru campuses (with certain exemptions for local residents).

What’s Next for Students

Candidates should note that registration cancellation is not permitted at any stage, and registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Once an exam date and test center are selected, they cannot be changed, and rescheduling or cancellation of exams is not allowed.

For technical support regarding exam scheduling or test center queries, candidates can contact Pearson VUE or visit their official support pages. For general admission-related queries, the toll-free helpline 1800-1025138 is available Monday to Friday (except public holidays) and select Saturdays from 09:00 to 18:00 hours.
