The Atal Bihari Vajpayee Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management (ABV-IIITM), Gwalior has released the official fee structure for the 2026-27 academic session on its official website. The notification covers undergraduate (UG), postgraduate (PG), and doctoral (PhD) programmes for students admitted in the 2026 batch.
As per the official notification, the total academic fee for UG programmes ranges from Rs 11.49 lakh to Rs 13.99 lakh. PG programmes carry a fee between Rs 3.28 lakh and Rs 7.79 lakh, while the doctoral programme fee stands at Rs 4.81 lakh for the full duration.
The ABV-IIITM fee includes tuition charges, hostel fees, mess advance, and refundable caution deposits. Candidates must pay the first instalment at the time of admission, while the remaining amount will be collected semester-wise according to the institute schedule.

What Does the IIITM Gwalior Fee Include?
The total academic fee combines all institutional charges payable during the programme. It includes:
- Tuition fee for the complete programme duration
- One-time admission and registration charges
- Hostel rent and electricity charges per semester
- Mess advance payable every semester
- Refundable caution deposit, returned after programme completion
Students should note that personal expenses, books, laundry, transportation, and other miscellaneous costs are not included in the academic fee and must be managed separately.
Fee Concessions and Stipends Available
The institute provides several financial benefits and concessions for eligible students:
SC, ST, and PwD candidates receive a full tuition fee waiver for UG programmes as per Ministry of Education (MoE) norms. MTech students admitted through GATE are eligible for a monthly stipend of Rs 12,400. PhD scholars receive the standard MoE fellowship as per institute regulations.
