NIFTEM MTech Round 1 Merit List 2026 Released; Check Fee Payment Deadline

The National Institute of Food Technology Entrepreneurship and Management (NIFTEM), Kundli, has released the MTech Round 1 merit list for the 2026-27 academic session. The list has been published on the official admission portal at niftemadm.samarth.edu.in. It covers candidates shortlisted on the basis of the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2026 scores. It also includes candidates shortlisted through the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) PG 2026 scores.

Shortlisted candidates must complete their admission fee payment by June 23, 2026. The fee window will close at the end of the day on the deadline. Candidates who miss the payment date will lose their Round 1 seat. The vacant seats will then move to the next round of counselling.

The MTech programme at NIFTEM Kundli spans two years across five specialisations. Each specialisation has an intake of 18 seats. The institute is run under the Ministry of Food Processing Industries, Government of India.

How to Pay the NIFTEM MTech Admission Fee?

The fee payment must be completed online through the NIFTEM admission portal. Candidates should keep their login credentials and payment instrument ready before starting the process.

1. Visit the official admission portal at niftemadm.samarth.edu.in.
2. Log in using your registered application ID and password.
3. Open the Round 1 merit list section and check your status.
4. Click on the fee payment link displayed in your dashboard.
5. Pay the admission fee using net banking, debit card, credit card, or UPI.
6. Download the payment receipt and save it for future reference.

Who Is Covered in the Round 1 Merit List?

The merit list covers two categories of MTech applicants for 2026-27. Both categories must follow the same fee payment deadline of June 23, 2026.

• GATE candidates: Applicants holding a valid GATE 2026 score in eligible papers such as Food Technology, Biotechnology, or related engineering streams.
• CUET candidates: Applicants holding a valid CUET PG 2026 score in eligible subject codes accepted by NIFTEM.
