Mizoram University (MZU) has opened the admission window for the 2026-27 academic session for its entrance-based undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programmes. Candidates can apply online through the official admission portal at mzuadm.samarth.edu.in. The online application process started on June 17, 2026, at 1:00 PM.

MZU Admission 2026 Application Fee

Candidates must pay the application fee online. The fee depends on the programme category and the applicant's social category.

Payment can be made through online modes such as net banking, debit card, credit card, or UPI. Offline payment is not accepted.

Entrance Exams Accepted by Mizoram University

Admissions for the 2026-27 session will be done through two entrance routes. The university will fill 50 percent of the seats from candidates applying with a CUET score. The remaining 50 percent of the seats will be filled through the Mizoram University Entrance Test (MZUET).

Candidates may apply through CUET, MZUET, or both. The CUET UG 2026 exam was held on June 6 and 7, 2026. PG aspirants applying through CUET PG must use the dedicated portal at mzucuet.samarth.edu.in/pg.

How to Apply for MZU Admission 2026-27?

Applicants need to register on the official portal before filling the form. Keep scanned documents and a working payment method ready before starting.

1. Visit the official portal at mzuadm.samarth.edu.in.
2. Click on the new registration link and create a login.
3. Fill in personal, academic, and programme preference details.
4. Upload the required documents and photograph.
5. Pay the application fee through the online payment mode.
6. Submit the form and download the confirmation page.

2. Check the eligibility for your chosen programme on the official notice.
3. Keep scanned marksheets, photo, signature, and ID proof ready.
4. Arrange the application fee for online payment.
5. Submit the form before July 10, 2026, for UG and PG courses.
6. PhD applicants must submit the form before August 10, 2026.
