Less than Rs 1 lakh 100 percent waiver
Rs 1 lakh to Rs 5 lakh Two-thirds waiver
Above Rs 5 lakh No remission

SC, ST, and PwD students also receive separate concessions per institute norms. The income-based remission policy follows the Ministry of Education guidelines. Students must submit fresh certificates each year to keep claiming the waiver.

The M.Tech programme costs Rs 1,40,000 for the full duration. The PhD fee totals Rs 1,50,000 across the five-year programme. These figures cover tuition only.

Postgraduate students must pay hostel and mess charges separately. The exact hostel fee depends on room type and mess plan opted. Sponsored M.Tech candidates pay as per separate institute norms.
