The Consortium of National Law Universities has postponed the CLAT 2026 UG Fourth Allotment due to ongoing legal proceedings before the Allahabad High Court. The fourth round of counselling will commence immediately after the court judgment.

CLAT UG 2026 Fourth Allotment Postponed

The Consortium of National Law Universities has postponed the CLAT 2026 UG Fourth Allotment as per the notification available on consortiumofnlus.ac.in.

The fourth round of counselling for the undergraduate programme, which was originally scheduled to commence shortly, has been postponed indefinitely.

This decision has been taken in view of the ongoing legal proceedings before the Hon'ble Division Bench of the Allahabad High Court regarding the CLAT 2026 answer key and its implications on the counselling process.

The Consortium of NLUs filed a Special Appeal against the judgment of a Single Judge rendered earlier in the year.

The Division Bench of the Allahabad High Court has heard the Special Appeal finally, and the judgment has been reserved for pronouncement of orders.

The judgment is expected to be pronounced on or after May 8, 2026, which will determine the further course of action for the CLAT 2026 UG counselling process.
