Kannur University has opened online registration for undergraduate and postgraduate degree programs for the academic year 2026-27. Applications are being invited for admission to UG and PG programs at the university departments and centers across multiple campuses. The online registration window is open from April 25, 2026 at 10:00 AM and closes on May 24, 2026 at 5:00 PM. Candidates can apply through the official admission portal at admission.kannuruniversity.ac.in. Admission will be made purely on the basis of marks obtained in the entrance test, except for MBA programs which require CAT, CMAT, or KMAT scores along with group discussion and interview performance.

Kannur University offers comprehensive undergraduate and postgraduate programs across multiple schools and departments spread across various campuses including Mangattuparamba, Dr. Janaki Ammal, Thavakkara, Swami Ananda Theertha, Dr. P.K. Rajan Memorial, Mananthavady, and Manjeswaram campuses. The university provides programs in science, humanities, commerce, management, law, and professional disciplines. Candidates who have passed all previous semester or year exams and are awaiting final semester or year degree results can also apply subject to attaining prescribed minimum qualification before the closing date. Registration Fee Structure

The registration fee for general category candidates is INR 600. SC/ST/PwD category candidates are required to pay INR 300 as registration fee. For additional programs, all categories must pay INR 200 per program. Candidates can apply for a maximum of four programs. MBA and MCA programs at centers are on a cost-sharing basis with higher fee structures than regular departments. Candidates other than SC/ST/OBC students admitted to cost-sharing programs are not eligible for fee concession.

Postgraduate Programs Available

Kannur University offers diverse postgraduate programs across multiple disciplines. M.Sc programs include Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Wood Science & Technology, Environmental Science, Physics, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Computational Biology, and Molecular Biology. M.A programs include Economics, Anthropology, English, History, Music, Malayalam, Hindi, Tribal & Rural Studies, and Journalism & Mass Communication. Professional programs include MCA, MBA, LLM, Master of Physical Education and Sports, and Master of Library and Information Science. All postgraduate programs are of 2 years duration with 4 semesters.

Kannur University offers B.A.LL.B (5 years, 10 semesters) and LL.B (3 years, 6 semesters) programs at the Department of Law. These programs are available at multiple campuses including Dr. Janaki Ammal Campus and Manjeswaram Campus. Rajan Memorial Campus at Nileswaram offers programs in Malayalam, Hindi, and Management Studies. Mananthavady Campus offers programs in Applied Zoology, Plant Science, and Tribal & Rural Studies. Manjeswaram Campus offers law programs.

Candidates must visit the official admission portal at admission.kannuruniversity.ac.in to register. The registration window opened on April 25, 2026 at 10:00 AM. Candidates can apply for a maximum of four programs during the registration period. The registration fee must be paid online during the application process.
