Bihar ITICAT 2026 Counselling Schedule Released at bceceboard.bihar.gov.in; Choice Filling from June 22

The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has released the Bihar Industrial Training Institute Competitive Admission Test (ITICAT) 2026 counselling schedule on the official website at bceceboard.bihar.gov.in. Online choice filling for qualified candidates begins on June 22, 2026.

The Board has issued two advisories on June 21, 2026, carrying the counselling process and choice-filling details. The notices are numbered BCECEB(ITICAT)-2026/06 and BCECEB(ITICAT)-2026/07.

Only candidates who have qualified the ITICAT 2026 examination are eligible to participate in the counselling process. The ITICAT 2026 exam was conducted on May 17, 2026, while the result and rank card were declared on June 4, 2026 on the BCECEB portal.

Bihar ITICAT 2026 Counselling Process

The counselling process is conducted entirely online by BCECEB for admission to Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) across Bihar. The process follows the sequence below:

• Filling of ITI and trade choices according to preference.
• Locking of choices before the prescribed deadline.
• Seat allotment based on rank, preferences, and seat availability.
• Document verification at the designated reporting centre.
• Final admission and reporting at the allotted ITI.

The counselling will be conducted in two regular rounds. A mop-up round will be held if seats remain vacant after the completion of the second round.
