Ques. How many students appear for BITSAT every year?
Ans. BITS does not publish the number of students who actually sit the exam. Registration figures in recent years have been in the range of 2–3 lakh. Total seats across all three campuses are around 4,020 per year, which makes the effective acceptance rate very narrow compared to the number of aspirants.

Ans. BITS Pilani revised the 2026 exam calendar, moving both sessions and the counselling process forward by roughly six weeks compared to 2025.
