TNEA 2026 Online Document Verification Deadline Extended to June 29 at tneaonline.org; Check Revised Last Date

The Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE), Tamil Nadu has extended the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) 2026 online document verification deadline. Candidates can now complete the process till June 29, 2026. The revised schedule has been notified on the official portal at tneaonline.org.

The earlier window for online document verification was set to close on June 20, 2026. The extension gives applicants additional time to upload, correct, and validate their certificates. The provisional rank list will be released on the same date the verification window closes.

TNEA 2026 has recorded an all-time high of over 3.02 lakh registrations this year. The extension is expected to help candidates who could not complete verification within the original timeline.

Documents Required for TNEA 2026 Verification

Candidates must keep scanned copies of the following documents ready before logging in. All uploads must be clear and legible.

• Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets
• HSC provisional or pass certificate
• Transfer certificate from the last institution
• Nativity certificate, if applicable
• Community certificate for reserved category applicants
• Permanent community certificate, where required
• First graduate certificate, if applicable
• Income certificate for tuition fee waiver claims
• Special reservation proofs such as sports, ex-servicemen, or differently abled certificates
• Passport-size photograph and signature

How to Complete TNEA 2026 Online Document Verification?

The verification is done fully online through the candidate login dashboard. Candidates do not need to visit a TFC (TNEA Facilitation Centre) for this step. The portal allows resubmission of documents if any certificate is rejected during review.

• Visit the official portal at tneaonline.org.
• Log in using the application number and password.
• Open the Document Upload and Verification section.
• Upload the required certificates in the prescribed format.
• Submit the documents and note the acknowledgement number.
• Track the verification status through the same dashboard.

What Happens After Verification?

Once documents are approved, candidates will be included in the provisional rank list. The list is prepared using normalised Class 12 marks in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. The rank list will be published on June 29, 2026, on the official portal.

Candidates who find errors in their data can use the grievance redressal window, which will remain open from June 30 to July 4, 2026. Counselling rounds and choice filling will begin after the final rank list is issued.

2. Keep scanned copies of all original certificates ready.
3. Re-upload any document marked as rejected or unclear.
4. Complete and submit the verification before June 29, 2026.
