MBOSE HSSLC Result 2026 to be Announced on May 4 at 11 AM

The Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBOSE) has officially announced that it will declare the HSSLC (Class 12) examination results for all streams on May 4, 2026 at 11:00 AM.

The result booklets will be available for download from multiple official websites, and there will be no physical display of results at MBOSE offices in Tura or Shillong.

Students can access their results through mbose.in, mboseresults.in.

The HSSLC examination 2026 covered all four streams: Arts, Science, Commerce, and Vocational. The board conducted the theory examinations from February 18 to March 13, 2026, with practical examinations held prior to the theory exams.

This result announcement follows the SSLC (Class 10) results, which were declared on April 7, 2026 at 11:00 AM.

Students can download their detailed result booklets containing subject-wise theory and practical marks from the official MBOSE website. The board has confirmed that results will be available on mbose.in.

How to Check MBOSE HSSLC Result 2026 Once Out?

Students can access their MBOSE Class 12 result online by following these simple steps:

1. Visit any of the official MBOSE result websites.
2. Click on the link for “MBOSE HSSLC Result 2026” on the homepage.
3. Enter your roll number in the required field.
4. Submit the details to view your result.
5. Download and take a printout of the scorecard for future reference.

The Meghalaya Board has also introduced an official mobile application, “MBOSE Results Shiksha,” available on the Google Play Store. Through this app, students can conveniently check, download, and share their results via WhatsApp, email, and other platforms directly from their smartphones.

The HSSLC Examination 2026 was conducted at various centres across Meghalaya for students from Arts, Science, Commerce, and Vocational streams. The results for all streams will be announced simultaneously on May 4, 2026.

The scorecard will include important details such as subject-wise marks, overall performance, and merit-related information.

MBOSE HSSLC Result 2026 Passing Marks

To pass the MBOSE Class 12 examinations in 2026, students must obtain at least 30% marks overall as well as in each individual subject, including both theory and practical components.

Candidates who achieve 80% or higher in aggregate will be awarded a star mark (*), signifying outstanding performance.

For eligibility for a star mark, students from the science and commerce streams must secure a minimum of 400 total marks, while those in the vocational stream are required to score at least 640 marks in aggregate.

Following the result declaration, students who wish to challenge their marks or require verification can approach their respective schools or the MBOSE office with proper documentation.

The board also conducts compartment and improvement examinations annually for students who do not clear their exams or wish to improve their scores.
