University of Rajasthan has opened registration for RULET 2026 (Rajasthan University Law Entrance Test) for admission to B.A.LL.B (Hons.) Five Year Integrated Course at University Five Year Law College. Online application forms are available from April 23, 2026 at admissions.univraj.org/ruletPanel. The last date for online application submission is May 14, 2026. Candidates claiming weightage or concession must submit hardcopy of application form with supporting documents by May 19, 2026 during office hours (9:00 AM to 2:00 PM) at University Five Year Law College, Jaipur. The written test will be conducted on May 23, 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM in Jaipur.
RULET 2026 is conducted for admission to 120+12 seats (10% EWS seats as per BCI norms) in the B.A.LL.B (Hons.) program. Admission will be based on merit secured in written test (300 marks), Group Discussion (25 marks), and Personal Interview (25 marks), totaling 350 marks. The examination comprises 150 multiple-choice questions covering English Language & Reading Comprehension, Legal Reasoning, Current Affairs & General Knowledge, and Logical Reasoning & Quantitative Aptitude. Candidates must meet minimum eligibility criteria of 50% marks in 10+2 (45% for SC/ST/PH candidates of Rajasthan; 60% for non-Rajasthan candidates).

Eligibility Criteria for RULET 2026
Candidates must have passed 10+2 (XII) examination with minimum 50% marks aggregate for Rajasthan residents. SC/ST/PH candidates of Rajasthan require 45% marks aggregate. Non-Rajasthan candidates must secure 60% marks aggregate in 10+2. Age limit as per BCI norms is applicable. Candidates must ensure eligibility before filling application form as per University Prospectus. Weightage and concession available as per University norms for Sports, NCC, NSS, and other criteria mentioned in prospectus.
How to Fill Online Application Form?
Candidates must visit admissions.univraj.org/ruletPanel and complete registration. Upload latest photograph (taken on or after January 1, 2026) in JPG/PNG/BMP format, 50KB-100KB size. Upload signature done with black marker pen on white paper in JPG/PNG/BMP format, 20KB-50KB size. Upload thumb impression (left hand for males, right hand for females/transgender) done with blue ink in JPG/PNG/BMP format. Fill personal details, category details, concession/weightage details, and address. Upload relevant documents/certificates (JPG/PDF/PNG/BMP, maximum 300KB). Submit application fee of INR 2,200 online. Take printout of payment invoice and application form for reference.

Written Test Pattern & Syllabus
The written test comprises 150 multiple-choice questions carrying 300 marks total (2 marks per question). Duration is 2 hours (120 minutes) with no negative marking. English Language & Reading Comprehension section has 50 questions (100 marks) covering grammar, phrasal verbs, idioms, active-passive voice, direct-indirect speech. Legal Reasoning section has 50 questions (100 marks) on Latin maxims, legal terms, Indian Constitution, and major Indian laws. Current Affairs & General Knowledge section has 25 questions (50 marks) on national/international events, Rajasthan culture, history, science, and legal knowledge. Logical Reasoning & Quantitative Aptitude section has 25 questions (50 marks) on series, analogies, blood relations, coding-decoding, seating arrangements, and mathematical operations.

Important Instructions for Examination
Candidates must bring admit card and valid original photo ID (Aadhar/PAN/Voter ID/Driving Licence/Passport) to examination center. Entry to examination hall closes at 10:45 AM on May 23, 2026. Mobile phones and electronic devices are strictly prohibited. Candidates must use only blue/black ball point pen. After test completion, candidates can carry question booklet and carbon copy of OMR sheet. Totally blind candidates must arrange amanuensis and submit attested certificates one day before examination. Biometric and videography may be conducted at examination center.
Correction Window & Admit Card
Candidates can make online corrections in application form on May 15-16, 2026 (Friday & Saturday) only. Admit cards will be available on university website from May 21, 2026 onwards. Candidates must download admit card before examination date. Roll number and examination center details will be mentioned on admit card. Candidates must carry printed admit card to examination center.
Answer Key & Objection Process
Answer key will be published on university website on May 23, 2026 (same day as written test). Candidates can submit objections regarding answer key in prescribed format with supporting documents in hard copy to Co-ordinator, RULET-2026, University Five Year Law College during office hours (9:00 AM to 2:00 PM) on May 25-26, 2026. Revised answer key will be displayed if necessary. Final result will be declared based on revised answer key.
Selection Process & Admission
Candidates qualifying written test will be called for Group Discussion and Personal Interview. Number of candidates eligible for GD & PI will be four times the total seats as per category-wise reservation. Final admission will be based on aggregate marks (written test 300 + GD 25 + PI 25 = 350 marks). Merit list will be prepared considering written test marks, GD performance, and PI score. Tie-breaking criteria include higher marks in written test without weightage, Class XII marks, Class X marks, and age (elder candidate preferred).
