Manonmaniam Sundaranar University PG Admission 2026 Open; Apply by June 5

Manonmaniam Sundaranar University (MSU) has opened online admission for postgraduate programs for the academic session 2026-27. Candidates can apply through the official university website at msuniv.ac.in with the application deadline set for June 5, 2026. The entrance examination for postgraduate and other programs will be conducted on June 12, 2026, at the MSU campus in Tirunelveli.

The MSU University offers a wide range of postgraduate programs including M.Sc., M.A., M.Com, MBA, MCA, M.E., M.Ed., and M.P.Ed. across various disciplines. Admission to most postgraduate programs is through entrance examinations, while some programs offer admission without entrance exams. The university also facilitates students to avail various scholarships and fee waiver schemes from state and central governments.

Candidates must apply online only through the university website at msuniv.ac.in. The application fee is INR 250 for SC/SCA/ST/PWD and transgender candidates, while INR 750 is required for all other candidates. The university offers postgraduate programs in science disciplines including M.Sc. Biotechnology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, Environmental Science, and Marine Science. Humanities programs include M.A. History, English, Tamil, Archaeology, Economics, Journalism and Mass Communication, and Sociology. Professional programs such as MBA, MCA, and M.E. Computer Science is also available with AICTE approval.

Special programs are offered at various centers including Sri Paramakalyani Centre of Excellence in Environmental Sciences at Alwarkurichi and Centre for Marine Science & Technology at Rajakkamangalam. Merit scholarships of INR 2,000 per month are available for top 10 integrated PG students for five years. Stipends of INR 1,000 per month are provided to students securing 60% and above marks in UG degree for specific programs.
