MAHE has opened MET 2026 Round 2 counselling registration and choice filling for BTech candidates at counseling.manipal.edu. The last date to fill choices is June 18 2026. Seat allotment result will be declared on June 20 2026.
The Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) has opened the Manipal Entrance Test (MET) 2026 Round 2 counselling registration and choice filling for BTech candidates on the official portal at counseling.manipal.edu. The Phase 2 window started on June 17, 2026 from 2:30 PM onwards. Candidates can fill their preferred campus and course choices until June 18, 2026.
The MET Round 2 seat allotment result will be declared on June 20, 2026 on the same portal. Only candidates who paid the counselling fee and met the cut-off in Phase 1 are eligible to participate. Fresh candidates with valid MET ranks can also register in this round.

Who Can Participate in MET 2026 Round 2?
Candidates with a valid MET 2026 rank card are eligible to take part. Those who registered in Round 1 but did not get a seat can join automatically. Allotted candidates who chose the upgrade option will also be considered.
Fresh candidates who did not register earlier may join Phase 2. They must first pay the counselling fee of Rs 10,000 on the portal. The fee is non-refundable and a one-time payment for the full counselling process.
How to Complete MET 2026 Round 2 Registration and Choice Filling?
Candidates must follow the official process on the MAHE counselling portal. The login uses the application number, OTBS password, and captcha code. Choices must be locked before the deadline on June 18, 2026.

Campuses Offered Under MET Counselling
MAHE conducts BTech admissions across its main campuses through MET counselling. Candidates can choose programmes at Manipal Institute of Technology (MIT) Manipal and MIT Bengaluru. Seats at the Jaipur campus are also offered through this common process.
Course choices include Computer Science, Information Technology, Mechanical, Electronics, and other core BTech branches. Each campus has its own seat matrix and cut-off for every programme.
What Happens After Round 2 Seat Allotment?
The Round 2 seat allotment result will appear on the candidate dashboard on June 20, 2026. Allotted candidates must accept the seat and pay the part admission fee within the given window. They must also upload required documents for online verification.
Candidates not satisfied with their allotted seat may opt for upgrade in later rounds. Those who skip acceptance will lose their seat and counselling fee.
Round 2 is the key window for candidates who missed Round 1. It also allows allotted students to upgrade to a better campus or branch. Locking choices on time is critical as the window is just over 24 hours.
