The Gujarat Common Admission Services (GCAS) PG Round 1 registration window is open from June 15 to June 29, 2026 (11:59 PM). Candidates can apply for M.A., M.Com., M.Sc., M.Ed., LL.M., B.Ed., and PG Diploma programmes.

The Gujarat Common Admission Services (GCAS) has started PG Round 1 registration for the 2026-27 academic session. Eligible candidates can apply online through gcas.gujgov.edu.in from June 15 to June 29, 2026 (11:59 PM).
The admission process covers postgraduate courses such as M.A., M.Com., M.Sc., M.Ed., LL.M., B.Ed., and various PG Diploma programmes offered by universities and colleges across Gujarat. The first admission offer will be released between July 7 and July 9, 2026, with seats allotted based on merit and candidates' preferences.

Courses Available
Candidates can seek admission to M.A., M.Com., M.Sc., M.Ed., LL.M., B.Ed., and several PG Diploma programmes. Admissions will be granted strictly on the basis of merit.
How to Apply for GCAS PG Round 1?
Candidates need to visit gcas.gujgov.edu.in and click on Student Login or New Registration. After selecting either Post Graduate (Regular) or Post Graduate (BAOU Distance Learning), applicants must fill in their personal and academic details, upload the required documents, pay the registration fee online, and submit their preferred university and course choices.
Applicants are advised to complete the process before June 29, 2026, instead of waiting until the final hours.
Registration Fee
The application fee is ₹300 for candidates belonging to the General, OBC-NCL and EWS categories. Candidates from SC, ST and PwBD categories are required to pay ₹150. The fee is non-refundable and can be paid online.
Mock Round and Edit Window
The mock round will be held from June 30 to July 3, allowing students to check their provisional merit position and admission chances. Mock admission offers will be available on July 3, while the correction and preference editing window will remain open from July 4 to July 6.
Admission Offer 1
The first round of seat allotment will be announced between July 7 and July 9, 2026. Candidates who receive an offer must confirm their admission, complete document verification, and report to the allotted institute within the specified timeline.

Some of the major institutions participating in GCAS PG admissions include Gujarat University, Sardar Patel University, Saurashtra University, Veer Narmad South Gujarat University, Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University, Maharaja Krishnakumarsinhji Bhavnagar University, The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, Gujarat Technological University, Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University (BAOU) and several other universities across the state.
