JEE Advanced 2026 registration deadline has been extended to May 5, 2026 (11:59 PM IST) for all eligible candidates. Candidates must complete registration and fee payment before the deadline on the official portal at jeeadv.nic.in.

The Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, the organizing institute for JEE (Advanced) 2026, has announced an extension of the online registration deadline to May 5, 2026 (11:59 PM IST).
All eligible candidates who qualified in JEE Main 2026 must complete their registration and fee payment before this extended deadline.
Candidates are advised to register at the earliest on the official registration portal at jeeadv.nic.in to avoid last-minute technical issues. Note that registration remains incomplete until the candidate pays the required fees.
JEE (Advanced) 2026 is being conducted by IIT Roorkee for admission to BTech and other programmes across all Indian Institute of Technology (IITs) and Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bengaluru.
The examination will be held on Sunday, May 17, 2026, with two papers scheduled from 09:00-12:00 IST (Paper 1) and 14:30-17:30 IST (Paper 2). Candidates who have qualified in JEE (Main) 2026 and meet the eligibility criteria are eligible to appear for this examination.

How to Register for JEE Advanced 2026?
- Eligible candidates must visit the official registration portal at jeeadv.nic.in to complete their registration.
- The registration process requires candidates to fill in their personal details, academic information, and upload necessary documents as per the guidelines.
- After completing the registration form, candidates must proceed to pay the required examination fee to finalize their registration.
- Incomplete registrations without fee payment will not be considered valid, so candidates should ensure they complete both steps before the deadline.

Document Requirements for JEE Advanced 2026
Candidates must have their JEE (Main) 2026 roll number and password ready before starting the registration process. They should also prepare scanned copies of their photograph, signature, and other required documents as specified in the Information Brochure. \
During registration, candidates need to verify their personal information, category, and other details carefully as these will appear on their admit card. Any discrepancies should be corrected during the registration period itself.

JEE Advanced 2026 Admit Card and Exam Day Instructions
Admit cards will be available for download from May 11, 2026 (10:00 IST) onwards on the official website. Candidates must download and print their admit cards before the examination date.
The admit card contains essential information including the candidate's roll number, examination center, reporting time, and other important instructions.
Candidates should verify all details on their admit card and report any errors immediately through the registration issues portal at jeeadv.ac.in.
What’s Next for Students
The provisional answer keys will be released on May 25, 2026, allowing candidates to evaluate their performance. Final answer keys and results will be declared on June 1, 2026 (10:00 IST).
Qualified candidates can then register for the Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) if they wish to pursue architecture programmes.
The Joint Seat Allocation (JoSAA) 2026 process will commence from June 2, 2026, through which candidates will be allocated seats in various IITs and IISc based on their JEE (Advanced) ranks and preferences.
