NTA released CUET UG 2026 admit cards on May 5, 2026, available at cuet.nta.nic.in. The Common University Entrance Test will be conducted in Computer Based Test mode from May 11 to May 31, 2026, across multiple centres nationwide and abroad.

The National Testing Agency has released admit cards for CUET (UG) 2026, available for download from May 5, 2026, onwards on the official portal cuet.nta.nic.in.
Candidates scheduled to appear between May 11 and May 31, 2026, must download their hall tickets using their login credentials immediately.
The examination will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode across various centres located in different cities throughout the country and abroad. Each examination shift has a duration of three hours.
The CUET UG 2026 is a gateway examination for undergraduate admissions to central universities and participating institutions across India. Candidates may be scheduled for a minimum of one subject and a maximum of three subjects in a single shift.
The exam city and schedule were previously shared to eligible candidates through the Advance Exam City Intimation Slip on April 29, 2026. This is a critical step before the actual examination, and candidates must verify all details on their admit cards carefully.

How to Download CUET UG 2026 Admit Card?
- Candidates must visit the official CUET portal at cuet.nta.nic.in and log in using their application number and date of birth to download the admit card.
- The admit card contains essential information including the examination centre, date, time, and subject allocation for each candidate.
- Candidates are strongly advised to read all instructions mentioned on the admit card carefully before appearing for the examination.
- Any discrepancies or difficulties in downloading the admit card should be reported immediately to the NTA Help Desk.
CUET UG 2026 Required Documents and Verification
All candidates must bring a valid photo ID as uploaded in their online application form and mentioned on the admit card for identity verification at the examination centre.
Candidates whose live photographs did not match with photographs in their Aadhaar during application or those who registered using alternative identity proofs must carry the requisite certificate in original form.
The certificate must be duly signed or attested by the Principal, Head Master, or a Class-I Gazetted Officer such as Tehsildar, Revenue Officer, SDM, or District Magistrate. For NRI candidates, the certificate must be attested by a Class-I Gazetted Officer of the Indian Embassy.
CUET UG 2026 Examination Format and Duration
The CUET UG 2026 will be conducted entirely in Computer Based Test mode with multiple-choice questions. If a candidate is allotted three subjects in one shift, they will appear for the full three hours.
If two subjects are allotted, candidates may complete the examination and leave after two hours. If only one subject is allotted, the examination duration will be correspondingly shorter, allowing candidates to exit after completing their assigned subjects.

Candidates should ensure they download their admit cards well in advance to avoid last-minute technical issues. The NTA recommends keeping a printed copy of the admit card and all relevant documents ready for the examination day.
What’s Next for Students
After the completion of the examination from May 11 to May 31, 2026, the NTA will release the official answer key for candidate review and objection submission.
The final results are expected to be announced in the last week of June 2026, following which the counselling process will commence for admission to undergraduate programmes.
Candidates are advised to prepare thoroughly during the remaining time and familiarize themselves with the examination pattern and syllabus.
Regular practice with mock tests and previous year question papers will help candidates manage time effectively during the actual examination.
