Course Curriculum Overview
The gtu updates the course curriculum after every few years so syllabus is mostly updated. My course is Robotics and Automation and most my subjects was highly directly related to my field . As my course was new and we were first batch mostly professors were not prepared according to syllabus.
Placement Experience
The placements of L.D College of engineering is top notch and one of the best. From 6th semester students become eligible for students and companies start visiting the college. There are more than 100 company visits like Adani, TCS, aditya birla, Reliance, etc. The highest package goes upto 17 lpa and various offers package like 8.5 lpa by Aditya Birla, 3.4 to 9 lpa by TCS , 5 lpa by xylem, etc. More than 80 % students get placement. I have already got placement in my college.
Fees and Financial Aid
The addmission fees for boys is Rs 1500 and for girls it is nill the college fees per year is Rs 600 the affiliation fees per year is Rs 300 and get exam fees is Rs 150 per subject and there is no such extra fees there is no scholarship for general caste students.
Campus Life
There are various clubs like vox populi, Robocon, Prakalpa, etc run by students of L.D College of engineering. There are events like traditional day, bollywood day, by vox populi helid mostly in month of March there are also various fest held by other clubs but there is no fixed timeline.
Admission
Before L.D College of engineering I was selected in Gec gandhinagar but in 3 rd I got admission in L D College of engineering. Ld college has one of the best placements and my main reason to select this college.
Faculty
There are 2 exams per semester one mid exam consists of 30 marks and one gtu exam consists of 70 marks . Mostly faculties members are friendly and helpful . They motivate you participate in hackathon and every extra curricular activities. I cannot directly mention name of faculties members but I like every faculty members of my course and even other professor and I have interacted for various other purposes.
Night Life
There is no gym , there was one canteen and three mess food was average and highly affordable. There is one hostel for girls and for boys there are many I don't have exact number. The college area is highly safe and there are few hangout place near college like Ahmedabad ni gufa, Law garden , etc

I got selected in L.D in 3rd round as it has better placement than gec gandhinagar
