Remarks

College management is very poor. To be frank VICT is money oriented college only. They only interested to earn money.

Entrance Preview

I got admission here by passing GUJCET with score of 48. And I choose this college only because of I didn't get admission anywhere better than this.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

As I did bachelor degree from VICT, which is affiliated with GTU. It has good curriculum. I've no idea for research because I didn't do anything like this during my college, neither VICT provide any chance to do research. So it is better to say nothing regarding this question.

Internships Opportunities

Actually in the colleges like this, there is nothing about internship. Students find internship by ownself and college provides them NOC certificate so the company will accept those students for internship. But college will provide you nothing. I did internship in gallops motors and I found it by myself.

Placement Experience

1

It is very serious question but I would like to answer in funny way, because we get nothing from this college in terms of job and placement. They charged thousands of rupees from us in terms of placement but even after completion of my degree I didn't hear that anyone of my batch got placed through VICT.

College Events

1

They tried to celebrate some events in college to get in limelight by using those events as marketing. But seriously those events are not good really. They celebrate it with low cost and low budget, so that students can't show best of them. Events like job fair, techfest, cultural program and etc were there during my academic years.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees are changeable. Every year they have some different strategy to attract students so they decrease fees or increase with some benefits. I've fees of INR51k of 1 year during my years. While the post batch from my batch has low tuition fees in compare with us.

Fees and Financial Aid

No. Really not at all. They even don't give cheque to some students who earn scholarship by government.

Campus Life

2.5

There is no extra curricular activities in this type of colleges. Even no sufficient sports equipment available here. Once in a year they arrange sports week and arrange some competition in College. Students take part and enjoy those days but some of students really don't care about it and didn't came to college during those days as they are not interested.

Hostel Facilities

2

There is no hostel facilities in campus. And canteen needs serious changes. The food provider is providing very poor food in canteen. However we can purchase packaged food but there is no any eatable item they make in canteen, every item was poor. I basically avoided food of canteen during my 4 years.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are average helpful. Actually I never desired help from seniors. So no idea about that. There is very simple system of this type of colleges so we didn't require any help from seniors.

Exam Structure

Exam structure is based on policies of GTU. Exam of 70 marks is conducted by GTU which is known as end semester exam and 30 marls depends on college. So here in VICT they took midsem exam of 20 marks and gave us 10 Marks based on attendance. Every college has different structure for these 30marks.

Admission

The procedure of take admission in the colleges affiliated by GTU is same. There is online procedure which is approved by AICTE.

Faculty

3.5

Faculties recruited here were mostly freshers, they didn't have any experience. But they tried their best to teach us and support us. Still required se experience faculties over there in college. It'll make college lil bit better. My overall experience regarding faculties of VICT is average.

Placement was not good at all!. There are only internships provided and only those students can archive the good placement who have good relations with our principal. This this was litterly not good at all. The amount of internship was unpaid and some are 5k per month!.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is well-strutured and covers fundamental concepts in a clear and systematic manner. As a first-semester student I found the subjects helpful in building a strong base for futher studies. The syllabus balances theory with practical exposure which helps in understanding real-worls applications.Faculty members explain concept clearly, through adding more hands-on projects and industry-oriented topics would make the curriculum even better.Overall the curriculum is relevent comprehensive and suitable for beginners but it can be improved with more practical sessions and updated content aligned with current industry trends.

Placement Experience:

Placement in this college is quite good and it also depends on the grades of the students. Highest package goes to 14 lakhs per annum and the average package goes to 5 to 6 lakhs per annum. As the students enter into their 7th semester the placement process gets started and the students will go into th selected companies in their 8th semester and if the worked well their they can also get PPO which means that they can do their job for permanent time. Percentage of the students last time who got placed in big MNCs company goes to 87 percent and the rest students got their placement in some small company. My plan after my b tech degree is to get higher studies in Mtech by score a good mark in the GATE exam which is going to be held in February month.
