Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I chose this course as economics always interested me. The college and its faculty are great with a good crowd. The faculty is top-notch since Du's scrutiny in the selection of professors. There are two sems per year The course is of 3 years.

Placement Experience

3

Since the college is a government college. The placements aren't that great but if you're a great student with prior experience you might get a good placement. Keep looking for internships and stay active to get a good placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are quite affordable and cheap since it's a government college. You have to pay the fees at the beginning of the scholastic year. You also can avail of financial assistance if needed, you receive it on the basis of academic excellence.

Campus Life

4.5

There are quite a lot of events and activities also fests conducted at Delhi University. You can make full use of them as they are a lot of fun to attend. Have an active participation in them. There are also quite a few clubs which would help you to learn a lot of things

Admission

I had to give CUET. The exam wasn't that tough though the screening process and selection were quite tedious and hectic. Prepare well for the exam all the questions are basically generic and related to your interested course.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course is a very different and unheard course of our country. Philosophy is not so prevalent in India as of now . On the contrary it is as popular in West as medical in India. So it is quite difficult when it comes to an understanding of the subject through indian lens. The curriculum includes western philosophy, Logic, Fundamentals of Philosophy, Social and Political Philosophy, etc., which covers almost all disciplines like political science, law, history, sociology, reasoning, etc. The books we are provided as study material are original writings of philosophers and Oxford translations, which makes it even harder to cop up with. The exam level is also quite difficult because you can never study a week before and get 9 Cgpa.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Specific aspects of curriculum that influence my decision the course was quite helpful for anyone who wants to pursue upsc. The curriculum has well round concepts of economics, policy making also contemporary debates which are applicable in real world. Teaching methods can be more practical based, classroom discussion, debates areas of improvement should be incorporated multiple disciplinary approach elements of economics, international relations in dept. The frequency and timings of exams are not that difficult in my perspective gaps are provided before the commencement of exams also between the exams for each subjects.
