Likes

The crowd is good and welcoming. The people are very nice and helpful especially the seniors
The academic space is vast, the professors are extremely well read , the best in the business really.
The atmosphere is very nice. You have good liberty to wear and do as you please. There's also queer acceptability.

Dislikes

The brand name is extremely virtuous so of course the competition on group is riveting and extreme
There's a certain sort of elitism that comes with. Bring in the best of the best obviously.
There's a rise of saffronizatin and a lot of problems regarding political ideologies were seen even in the last elections

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is diverse and does delive into a lot tissue is that it is not updated with the contemporary political reality for someone whose pursuing you know a major in Political Science it is not a difficult to keep up because the present situation have changed practically

Class Size: 150Course Fees: INR 18000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Yearly I pay about 18000 , the examination fees is paid over this amount, since I'm pursuing a bachelor in arts there is no such fee for labs. Government College there are not that when is scholarship that I being offered less from the edblues category wear in your given some sort of relief. .

Campus Life

Since it's a government college the infrastructure could be improve the bit but the clubs are extremely at the society is a very well was the sing as I extremely cooperative you can be a part of numer society is there is a lot of understanding cities at the most repellent of socializing.

Admission

Miranda House just who is the reputation of being one of India's best if not India's best and answer a bachelor and arts and the environment that it gives you do not you cannot have that anywhere except for me right now and all girls college I didn't prefer other college is well but may and I was my top priority and I am pretty clarity happened.

Faculty

The faculty is extremely cooperative and very well red they have an extreme plethora of knowledge that there always willing to share with the students the history department in particular has one of the best teachers that I personally was able to learn under. They are two exams throughout the year the ensomes for both the semesters . The exams and moderate at best not being extremely difficult or extremely easy.

Night Life

Most things get closed of 5:05 p.m. so it is I would not say it is extremely active the only thing is at since it is in the North Campus and the Hudson lane Patel chest Kamna Nagar all new year it is not very difficult task to go out

DTU is Totally Worth Spending Time At!

Placement Experience:

Campus placements have been good from what I have noticed this year. BBA and BAE students get almost the same packages and same companies hire the students. Average package for BAE students is 5.5 Lakhs and for BBA it's a little high at 6 lakhs or so.

Our college has a very active and effective placement cell. Major companies like Goldman Sachs, Bain among many others come on campus for not just placements but also internships. Average and Median packages are between 8 and 10 lakh per annum, with highest packages going up to 25 lakhs. Tale of a First Year

Placement Experience:

The college Offers campus placements which are mostly in the private sector. Students are eligible for Campus Placements after Completing the 4th semester or we say on completion second year. Many companies are brought on board By the placement cell of the college. In this list also Mkinsey, EY, KPMG, Which are some of the prominent rulers of their industries. The median package offered to UG was 6 lakhs per annum, Top 9 students were offered a median salary of 9,00,000 per annum. Around 490 were placed From campus placements of the college out of 1300 students eligible For the placements, These are only approximate figures and not exact. The highest package offered from the college is around 14,00,000 per annum. Talking about my plans after getting the degree is going for highest studies, Either Masters in economics or MBA in business economics.

KM COLLEGE - FILLED WITH COMPLAINTS ?

Course Curriculum Overview:

Too vague to understand, feels extra burden of unnecessary irrelevant topics , extra papers like SEC/VAC simply add to the burden while barely providing with any skills and values as their name suggests . Studying them and preparing for exams add extra stress and unnecessary burden on them , diverting their focus from their core papers , which are already too huge and they study materials or readings simply fail to assist . Areas for improvement would be - proper structured study materials , also proper structured practical subjects / papers for students where they can actually learn or gain knowledge/skills which will be advantageous in their future .

Placement Experience:

I would say the placement opportunities are more available for science , commerce background students in the college there are rarely any placement opportunities for humanities background students . Mostly students starts engaging in placement in the fifth semester .severky companies visited campus every year including Deloitte , EY.TCS etc . Around 40 - 50 percent students from professional courses get the placement annually .even for the students not opting for placement the exposure n the strong alumni network of college help them secure good opportunities outside campus

Honestly, I got Lady Shree Ram college at first with an English hons degree in hand. But I had Miranda listed 5 times in top 10 colleges I wanted to go to. So, I guess I got what I wanted. But, my dream college was Srcc with an economics degree. I am currently pursuing economics as a minor subject for now though. I believe that Miranda is a great college but it can never offer me what Srcc could. The admission process of my college is through the entrance exam called CUET.
