What Students Say

Likes

Teachers are well qualified and lab staffs and technicians are pro at their work. They are very kind and helpful Teachers also provide all kind of study materials needed.
Anti ragging policies are also there. Ragging is strictly prohibited in the campus
The campus is very green and full of trees

Dislikes

College canteen should work on their menu
You are supposed to take a bus for 20 minutes to reach Nearest metro
The infrastructure of old campus is not good.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum of Delhi University is followed 3 core papers are there apart from them 1SEC(skill enhancement course) 1VAC( value addition course) 1AEC(Ability enhancement course) and 1 GE (generic elective) is there.

Class Size: 38Course Fees: INR 14975 per year

Internships Opportunities

College placement cell is there that offers placement across the campus and the university provides internship schemes for students of 1st and 2 nd year Various companies also reach out to the collge but ut solely depends on student's academic performance

Placement Experience

From 5th sem placements are offered and for 1 and 3 sem internship schemes are also there. Average package of 5-10 L are provided by companies like adobe whipro Placements also depends on student's overall academic performance

Fees and Financial Aid

Year wise fees ranges between 5k to 30k. It depends on the course you are enrolled in. For example i'm in bsc and my yearly fees is 14975 For maximum course it is around 15k only. Scholarship programmes are also there.

Campus Life

Shraddha tarang is the annual fest of the college and departmental fests are also there. Books and journals can easily be accessed with college library card. Within classroom projectors are provided. One of the college of DU with biggest ground is SSNC.Harshit rana the famous cricketer is from this college Every department college has their own society and college society is also there like majestic drovers is the fashion society of the college

Admission

The admission is based on CUET score and this college is preferred due to its faculty and a decent package is also provided. For getting admission minimum 540 score is needed. After clearing cuet exam you will have to do a verification in the college administrative block physically

Faculty

Teachers are well qualified. Two exams are there one is mid sem next is end sem 75% attendance is necessary to appear for end sem Exams are not at all tough if one attends all the classes regularly and pays attention

Night Life

No gym is there in the college. Cafeteria is opened till 4pm and the timing of library is from 9 to 4 except Saturday and Sunday College timing ranges from 8.30 to 5 After 8 it is not safe to roam in alipur

The placement cell of Sri Venkateswara College is good and brings some big names like big 4 for placement The highest package was around 24+LPA and average is around 7-8 LPA for a variety of courses . Placement Experience:

The placement cell of Hansraj College is quite active. You are eligible to sit for campus placement offers from 5th semester onwards. Companies like Deloitte, capgemini arw frequent recruiters for several posts and positions. The highest offered package is somewhere around 22000 with the average being at 700000-800000. Not all students get placed on campus, however thr hands on training and learning makes you industry ready, making you eligible amd worthy to apply for off campus placement opportunities. Many students prefer not to sit for campus placements and rather opt for higher studies after graduation. I plan to do the same after getting my undergraduate degree.

Life in RAMJAS

Course Curriculum Overview:

Cource curriculum is highly relevant. It covers fundamental and advanced concepts of zoology , which was the main reason I choose this course. Subjects like human physiology, biochemistry, biomolecules, comparative anatomy of vertebrates, animal behaviour, ...etc. are highly interested and align with my interest. Practical components help in developing and understanding concepts more clearly. However, real world applications is limited. Curriculum prepare students well for further academics for PG or other competitive exams. Exam system is conducted at regular intervals with Internal assessment and semester end. Timings are appropriate . Difficulty level is moderate to high.

Course Curriculum Overview:

For B.Sc (Hons) Mathematics at Hindu College, the curriculum follows the latest DU UGCF?2022 structure, so it covers both strong theory and some modern applications. The main reason to choose this course is the depth in core areas like Calculus, Algebra, Real Analysis, Linear Algebra, Differential Equations and Probability, which builds a very solid base for higher studies like M.Sc, data science or research. There are six semesters with continuous internal assessment plus end?semester exams, so students study regularly instead of only before finals. Exams are usually moderate to difficult because questions are concept?based, but the pattern is fair and gives weightage to assignments, tutorials and attendance. i dont like any thing in this college

during the addmission time i dont have that much knowlage which i have know this is the first college i have alloted in 3rd list and i was scared that i dont want to miss that too thats why i choose this college other then that if i have any other option to cahnge my college i will definetly changed that i have to travel 2 hours for the college if i want to attend the 8:30 class i have to take the first metro from the neartest metro station and evry day 4 hours travel was hactek when i reach home i just went to sleep i dont have energy for take 10 mins for my food that was my bad i was not awear about the frizeing systerm and i was afred that my be i dont get admission in other college thats why i just take the first apportunity and just leand with it the admiddion process is very confusing i asks many people abaout that then i did what every i can i waas very sad after i got to know the things becous 3 years is a big time and evry day i ahve to weast my 4 hours in traveling that why i tred form migration but from my college migration was not allowed and i have to score 80% for maigratiob...Read More
