Remarks

Have to check the cut-off list of Delhi university then according to the course and the percentage I have to apply and the admission procedure gets done I college only just has to carry all documents of 10, 12 , migration certificate, etc.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

The best part is the Teachers. As they take class properly and syllabus is covered nicely .Student ratio is also not much . Mostly teachers were PHd . Teaching method quite likely . Term exam was yearly two semester with that some projects or assignments in between . Not not so easy or difficult too .

Internships Opportunities

2.5

I don't have an idea regarding internships in college they have only job placements i guess for my course . Other courses must have like honours students must be getting internship offers there. Stipend would be within 1- 15 k . B.com hns , statistics hns ,economic hns or others .

Placement Experience

3

There is a placement facility but not that good tho it's been years since me passing out and things have changed. After completion, of course, sure you can get good oppurtunity. Students are eligible in their last semester.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is good .As its a government college so yearly 10-30 k a per course you have to pay fees . + exam fees like 750 - 1600 per semester . Campus jobs are just fine right now so good and sports quota or other quota work but about scholarship i have no idea . Financial assisance idk much about this aspect .

Campus Life

4.5

Annual Fest is conducted every year in the end in between Jan - March . Yes there is library and you can get different books there avialability is good . Classrooms are fine . If we speak about extra circular activities then As i was in DNA -Western Dance society of college similarly you will get different other society like bhangra , dramatical, sports team , and other subject related ike Ramcom - for b.com and b.com Hons students. Economics student have there own etc.

Other Applied Colleges

kalindi College | B.A

It was far from my place .

Placement Experience:

Placement in Kirori Mal College is very good, other course is history based and side course is also based. Right now it is my 1st year so I have not yet made any rounds to any company for placement. Not everyone gets placement, at least not in high percentage. I have not thought much about this topic, so I cannot tell you anything about it right now.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was always interested in political science. And I am a upsc aspirant and the syllabus of the curriculum was aligning with it. Exams mostly happen in the last 2 months. As far I think course curriculum is really good. I have public administration and international relations which are my favourite.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum of the history honours course,is vast and comprehensive, which provides you the comprehensive knowledge of the History, from ancient, mediaeval and modern Indian history,to history of japan, china, usa and modern west and europe. So I chose this course because of my interest in history and my future planning for upsc, this course prepares you well in history for upsc. The teaching method can be improved in terms of that it should more discussion based rather than old methods. There are final theory exams per semester or per six months,so exams are quite easy if you studied well in the semester, and timings are quite good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In this era of corrosive politics which believes in the wake of wear and tear, I personally believe the utility of my subject is quite exemplary. The curriculum is not mine or any of my professor's decision. It changes according to the shifts in power. The major focus of history honours' curriculum is just India, henceforth making it a viable option for people preparing for competitive exams, but somewhere, all of us studying the course know that the lack of interdisciplinarity and just focusing on its academic niche ingroups is necessary to be looked upon. Exams happen on a biannual basis calling these phenomenon as the end of one semester, which happens twice in each academic year.

Miranda House, Bachelor of Arts [BA] {Hons.} (Philosophy)
Reviewed on Jan 4, 2026(Enrolled 2024)

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course is a very different and unheard course of our country. Philosophy is not so prevalent in India as of now . On the contrary it is as popular in West as medical in India. So it is quite difficult when it comes to an understanding of the subject through indian lens. The curriculum includes western philosophy, Logic, Fundamentals of Philosophy, Social and Political Philosophy, etc., which covers almost all disciplines like political science, law, history, sociology, reasoning, etc. The books we are provided as study material are original writings of philosophers and Oxford translations, which makes it even harder to cop up with. The exam level is also quite difficult because you can never study a week before and get 9 Cgpa.
