Remarks

Khalsa College is very well known in DU. It’s basically famous for sports and its massive open ground. It’s situated in north campus and gives an edge over other college. Moreover the study structure is great with ac classrooms.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is quite updated we have various options to choose from. Im not quite sure abt the industrial exposure as there have been no field trips as such. The classes are quite big and roomy. The faculty is mixed.

Course Fees: INR 26000 per year

Placement Experience

The placement cell Ignite is very good. We have webinars on a regular basis with employers of reputed companies. Thus we have tie ups with well known multinational companies and most of them visit our college for placement.

College Events

There are many events that happen on a daily basis. The participation is in quite large numbers. The activities are on a large scale and incorporate many arenas. The annual fest Lashkara is huge as well.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester of college. The companies that have visited DTU are Deloitte, EY, KindLife, etc. The highest package was 13 LPA and the average package is around 6-7 LPA. After doing my four year course, I'll appear for CAT exams and go for further studies.

Placement Experience:

Placemenets of the overall colleges are good, especially for commerce related streams, however for science streams they are just well. Highest package varies around 12-15lpa and average is 5-9lpa. 60% students get placed while others either prefer higher studies or get rejected. I plan to go for higher studies.

I choose this course because i have a keen interest in history . my curriculum prepare me for my future , it develop a thinking way in that way so that i can think in all the ways and direction. it teaches how small impact or method or matter impacted whole future. so your small decisions also played role in what will be your future be. i think there is a great need to improve in teaching method. mainly history is not only limited upto dates and king stories . it is alot from this . it teaches many things which sharp a individual personality. Exam happened twice times in a year and timing for core subject is 3 hours and for value and skill addition subject it is 1/2 hours depending upon subject

Sgtb khalsa , hidden gem of NC DU

The college is purely based on merit list except for the seat reserved for Sikh minority. However the crowd here is very mindful and cohesive. People you start getting along with will greet you wherever they see you and always up to help u with anything u want/need. The staff is equally active and works for students through students.
