Course Curriculum Overview

4

I choose this course because i have a keen interest in history . my curriculum prepare me for my future , it develop a thinking way in that way so that i can think in all the ways and direction. it teaches how small impact or method or matter impacted whole future. so your small decisions also played role in what will be your future be. i think there is a great need to improve in teaching method. mainly history is not only limited upto dates and king stories . it is alot from this . it teaches many things which sharp a individual personality. Exam happened twice times in a year and timing for core subject is 3 hours and for value and skill addition subject it is 1/2 hours depending upon subject

Fees and Financial Aid

In my first year i paid ?14000 , but in my second year I paid ?11890. examination fees is dependent upon subject which you choose so i paid in my 1st semester-?1200,in 2nd sem-?1150 and in 3rd sem-?1140. Many scholarship provided to student those whose parents have less than 8 lakh annual family income. Fees concession is provided to many students in which almost half or more amount will be return to the student account who fill the fees concession form and eligible for fees concession

Campus Life

4

college campus is so much good. There is so many societies(clubs) based on many social and different themes. College celebrated, Deepavali, Utsav and many festivals like Oonam, etc. The book issued by college for 15 days and you can rest for another 15 days so there is no time limit for book. Those student who pursue honours courses can issue five books in one time, where is programme pursued student can issue only for book. Activity is very good in my college. There is one basketball Ground, one cricket, ground and large area for all games. Indoor games also provided by college such as carrom, chess, etc. There is so many social group run by student and supported by our 2 faculty member, example environment society who generally do cleanes drive for river yamuna and college.

Admission

I got this college through Allotment based on Cut-off . in first round of allotment, I got Kalindi College, but it is far from my home, that's why I apply for second round allotment and in my second round allotment, I got Dyal Singh College. Very simple process of admission . Only need a good marks in CUET examination and depend upon college cut-off of your course for your admission. Dayal Singh cut-off is high for my course. In my time of admission it was 652/800.

Faculty

4

Faculty behaviour with students is so much good but few faculty behaviour is not that much good. i like my teacher mr Hari Narayan Sahu sir and pooja vij Ma'am they both are very good teacher . beside this like Graudwomen , her behaviour is so much friendly and talking way is polite. there is semester wise examination of 7-8 subject, depend upon your subject choice(practical subject/theory). I think there is very less number of students who got back(fail)

Night Life

4

I do not hang out in night in my college, but generally I spend my evening time in my college. The library will be closed by evening and classes locked but college campus open for students. My few friends spend in night during deepawali utasv celebration , they shared a good experience.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Economics is one such course which I feel complements every other discipline and since it talks about human behaviour, so it also teaches us a lot about the real world. The timing of exams can be changed by delaying exams by some time so that we get enough time for preparation. Also, the vacations are very less due to which people from far away cannot go to their homes.

Placement Experience:

placement and internship fares are regularly conducted on campus where various companies which are mostly start-ups visit to recruit students for internships and entry level roles. Students become eligible for internships from the first year itself. placement opportunities are generally available after the completion of the full degree and only final year. Students are eligible to apply for full-time rules. last during our last internship and placement fair over 20 companies visited and recruited almost 150 candidates. There are no separate records distinguishing internship from placement. The highest package reported for economics honours is around 12 lakhs per annum and the average package is approximately five lakhs per annum. As per my future plans,I intend to pursue a masters degree after completing my undergraduate course.

For USME, FMCG and Financial companies are the ones which are put in place. The only reason is that those are the companies where we can add value and placements of both courses of USME happens together and combined if I say around 75% students are placed. My plan though is to join GIPE after my graduation ends this year.

DTU because East campus is more known for USME placements revolve around us. Now core companies of our sectors are the ones that deals with finance, insurance or stocks. So nearly 20-30 companies of that space or sector hires over 100 students of BAE every year.

Our college has a very active and effective placement cell. Major companies like Goldman Sachs, Bain among many others come on campus for not just placements but also internships. Average and Median packages are between 8 and 10 lakh per annum, with highest packages going up to 25 lakhs. Many also go for postgraduate education, such as MBA after CAT, or to reputed colleges like the DSE for MA.
