Likes

The college is very well connected via public transportation bus and metro stations are very close
The teachers are very helpful and actually caring about students

Dislikes

Lack of air conditioners as the college becomes really hot and humid in summers

Course Curriculum Overview

The course can be a little bit too, overwhelming as the curriculum is really outdated as compare to what skills are required in the real world, but the introduction of SEC and VAC subjects have really helped add value to the course

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 25000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The Fee is currently 25635/- for a year which covers 2 semesters the fee has been hiked in comparison to the past years but it is still very affordable.I have no scholarship or financial aid also no extra fees is been taken in the name of lab or development fee. The only fee you give is the initial CUET fee and then the semester fee plus the exam fee as seperate

Campus Life

I am actually enjoying my college life because I have taken part into societies which help me shape as an individual with curricular activities, the College infrastructure is not the best and very Sub-Par the labs are very equipped with good instruments, but they don't really use them

Admission

I applied to this College because it has a long standing good reputation for science courses and specially biology. Our college offers some courses that are only offered in a single college in the whole Delhi University circuit with respect to biology. Plus, it is really near to my house and well connected via public transport.

Faculty

I actually really enjoyed all of my professors during the first semester since we could understand what they were teaching despite having a little barrier because they pronunciation is predominantly South Indian and that accent persists but still, they always take that extra mile to make the students understand.

Interview Experience

There was actually no group discussion or personal interview involved in the admission procedure. It was always based on the academic result, outcome in the common University entrance test paper and cut off scores

Night Life

The College it besides the youth hub Satya Niketan. It actually has a lot of cafes and gyms. I really like going to the cookie spot known as dohful it is right across the street from the College, and also momos from moms are the best

Placement Experience:

Placemenets of the overall colleges are good, especially for commerce related streams, however for science streams they are just well. Highest package varies around 12-15lpa and average is 5-9lpa. 60% students get placed while others either prefer higher studies or get rejected. I plan to go for higher studies.

Placement Experience:

It is steadily improving, usually students from semester 5 become elegible for campus placements . Some of the comapnies that regularly visit are Deloitte, ICIC bank, ZS associates and others. The average package ranges between 4 to 6 LPA and the highest package goes upto 12LPA. Usually 7-8 cgpa ones are placed or are elegible for the campus placements, my plans after getting the degree is to pursure higher studies along with relevant internships

Course curriculum was fine and improved from next yeAr due to NEP introducing skill development multi dimensional subjects The course goes well aligned with competitive exams and UGC NET More interactive tools can be used and monotonous assignment can be reduced Frequency of exams is good brushing your knowledge but timing is vulnerable in extreme temperatures reducing efficiency

The placement cell of Hansraj College is quite active. You are eligible to sit for campus placement offers from 5th semester onwards. Companies like Deloitte, capgemini arw frequent recruiters for several posts and positions. The highest offered package is somewhere around 22000 with the average being at 700000-800000. Not all students get placed on campus, however thr hands on training and learning makes you industry ready, making you eligible amd worthy to apply for off campus placement opportunities. Many students prefer not to sit for campus placements and rather opt for higher studies after graduation. I plan to do the same after getting my undergraduate degree.

The beauty of college

I chose this college over other colleges primarily for the brand value and image it carries and also because of how it promotes inclusion .
