CG PPT 2026 Round 1 Merit List Out at cgdte.admissions.nic.in; Check Seat Allotment Date

The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Chhattisgarh has released the Chhattisgarh Pre Polytechnic Test (CG PPT) 2026 Round 1 merit list. The merit list is now live on the official portal at cgdte.admissions.nic.in. Candidates who registered for diploma counselling can check their position now.

The authority has issued four separate Round 1 merit lists for Session 2026. These cover Diploma in Engineering and Architecture, Diploma Engineering Lateral Entry, Diploma in Costume Design and Interior Decoration, and Diploma in Modern Office Management and Hotel Management. Each list shows the candidate rank against the chosen course stream.

The registration window for Round 1 counselling was open from June 11 to June 15, 2026. Candidates were required to fill choices of colleges and branches within this period. The merit list is based on CG PPT 2026 scores and choice preferences submitted by candidates.

How to Download the CG PPT 2026 Round 1 Merit List?

Candidates can follow these steps to view their merit position on the official portal:

• Visit the official admissions portal at cgdte.admissions.nic.in.
• Click on the Merit List tab on the homepage.
• Select the relevant diploma stream from the list shown.
• The Round 1 merit list PDF will open on the screen.
• Search for your application number or name on the list.
• Download the PDF and save it for future reference.

Diploma Streams Covered in the Round 1 Merit List

DTE Chhattisgarh has uploaded four merit list documents for Session 2026. Each document lists candidates for a specific group of diploma courses. The streams covered are listed below.

How to Raise an Objection Against the Merit List?

Candidates who find an error in their merit list entry can raise an objection. The objection window is open till June 17, 2026 on the same portal. Candidates must log in using their application number and date of birth.

They should select the specific point of objection on the form. Supporting documents must be uploaded as proof of the claim. The DTE will review each objection before declaring the seat allotment result on June 19.

What Happens After the Seat Allotment Result?

Candidates allotted a seat in Round 1 must report to the assigned institute. Reporting includes document verification and admission fee payment at the college. Candidates who skip reporting will lose their allotted seat in Round 1.

Those not satisfied with the Round 1 allotment can choose to participate in Round 2. The second round of seat allotment is scheduled for July 3, 2026. A third and final round is planned for July 18, 2026.

2. Verify your name, application number, and rank on the list.
3. Raise objections through the portal before June 17, 2026.
4. Wait for the Round 1 seat allotment result on June 19, 2026.
5. Report to the allotted institute with original documents and fees.
6. Opt for Round 2 if not satisfied with the Round 1 allotted seat.
