JEECUP has released the 2026 counselling schedule. The counselling process for Engineering and Other Groups except Pharmacy will begin on June 25, 2026 at jeecup.admissions.nic.in with a seat acceptance fee of Rs 3,000.
The Joint Entrance Examination Council Uttar Pradesh (JEECUP) has released the JEECUP 2026 counselling schedule on its official portal at jeecup.admissions.nic.in. The counselling process for Engineering and Other Groups, except the Pharmacy Group, will begin on June 25, 2026.
The council has uploaded the detailed counselling instructions, the help centre list, and the round-wise schedule. Candidates who qualified the Uttar Pradesh Joint Entrance Examination for Polytechnic (UPJEE) 2026 can take part in the process. The schedule for the Pharmacy Group will be notified separately by the council.

How to Register for JEECUP 2026 Counselling?
Candidates must complete the registration on the official JEECUP portal. The process is fully online. Reporting to the allotted institute is done in person after seat allotment.
The end-to-end candidate flow is as follows:
- Online Registration: Candidates fill in basic details and create a new password.
- Fee Payment: Log in with the new password and pay the Rs 3,000 seat acceptance fee.
- Choice Filling and Locking: Select preferred courses and institutes. Lock the choices before the deadline.
- Seat Allotment: Seats are allotted based on rank, choices, and seat availability.
- Document Verification and Reporting: Report to the allotted institute and complete verification.
Documents Needed at Reporting
Candidates must keep all original documents ready before reporting. Photocopies and digital scans should also be carried as backup.
- JEECUP 2026 rank card and admit card
- Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets and certificates
- Domicile certificate of Uttar Pradesh, where applicable
- Category certificate (SC, ST, OBC, EWS), if claimed

JEECUP Counselling Rounds: What to Expect
The JEECUP council usually conducts the counselling in multiple rounds. Last year, the process was held across six rounds, including a special round at the end. The 2026 calendar is expected to follow a similar structure.
Seat allotment results for the first round are expected in July 2026. Candidates who do not get a preferred seat can opt for upgrade or upgradation in subsequent rounds. Vacant seats roll over to the next round of choice filling.
