NBEMS has opened registration for Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) June 2026 session from April 21 to May 11, 2026. The exam will be held on June 28, 2026 in computer-based format.

NBEMS Opens FMGE June 2026 Registration Window

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences has opened the online registration window for FMGE June 2026. Eligible candidates can apply from April 21, 2026 (3:00 PM) to May 11, 2026 (11:55 PM) through the official website.

The Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) is a mandatory screening test for Indian citizens and Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs) who have obtained medical degrees from foreign institutions and wish to practice in India.

The exam will be conducted on June 28, 2026 in a computer-based format across multiple centres nationwide.

Who Can Apply for FMGE 2026?

Candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria:

  • Medical Qualification: Recognized MBBS or equivalent degree from a foreign institution
  • Embassy Verification: Qualification must be verified by the concerned Indian Embassy
  • Internship Requirement: Must have completed the required internship as per norms
