The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) announced the Class 10 results on April 23, 2026, marking a significant milestone for over 4.22 lakh students who appeared for the annual secondary examination.

The results are now available on the official websites jacresults.com, jac.jharkhand.gov.in, and jacexamportal.in. Students can access their scorecards by entering their roll code and roll number, which are mentioned on their admit cards.

The JAC Class 10 examination was conducted from February 3 to 17, 2026, across 1,232 examination centers. A total of 4,24,001 students registered for the exam, with 4,22,109 appearing for the test.

The board recorded an impressive overall pass percentage of 95.278%, with 4,02,178 students passing the examination.

This year's results demonstrate strong performance across all divisions, with 2,26,957 students securing first division, 1,60,673 in second division, and 14,548 in third division.

Students can access the JAC Class 10 Result 2026 through three primary methods. Because the online marksheet is a provisional document, it is recommended that students download and print a copy for use in upcoming school admissions.

Method 1: Official JAC Websites

This is the most direct way to view the complete scorecard.

  • Step 1: Candidates should visit either jacresults.com or jac.jharkhand.gov.in.
  • Step 2: They must locate and click on the link titled "JAC Annual Secondary Examination Results 2026."
  • Step 3: The user will be prompted to enter their specific Roll Code and Roll Number.
  • Step 4: Once submitted, the result will display on the screen for review and download.

Method 2: SMS Service

To avoid delays caused by high website traffic, students can use the offline SMS facility.

  • Step 1: The student should open the messaging app on their mobile phone.
  • Step 2: They must compose a new message in the following format: JHA10 [Roll Number].
  • Step 3: This message should be sent to the official number: 5676750.
  • Step 4: The board will then send a return text message containing the student's marks and qualifying status.

Method 3: DigiLocker

For a secure, digital version of the marksheet that can be stored long-term, students may use the DigiLocker platform.

  • Step 2: They should navigate to the "Education" section and select "Jharkhand Academic Council."

JAC 10th Result 2026 Division System and Passing Criteria

The JAC Board follows a clear division system based on the percentage of marks obtained. Students scoring 75% and above secure distinction, 60% to 75% achieve first division, 45% to 60% receive second division, and 33% to 45% qualify for third division.

The minimum passing marks required is 33% in each subject. The board also awards grace marks to eligible students who fall short by minimal margins in one or two subjects.

What’s Next For Students

Students who have passed can proceed to Class 11 and select their preferred stream: Science, Commerce, or Arts based on their performance and interests. Those who are unsatisfied with their results can apply for scrutiny in June 2026 by paying Rs 450 per subject. 

Students who failed in one or more subjects can appear for supplementary exams scheduled in July 2026, with results expected in August 2026.
