HPCET 2026 Counselling Registration Begins at ecounselling.hp.gov.in; Check Direct Link to Apply

The Himachal Pradesh Technical University (HPTU), Hamirpur has opened the Himachal Pradesh Common Entrance Test (HPCET) 2026 counselling registration on the official portal at ecounselling.hp.gov.in. The university released the admission notice on June 18, 2026.

Candidates seeking admission to participating institutes must fill the online counselling-cum-admission form. The link to the form is also available on the HPTU website at himtu.ac.in.

Registration covers admissions to nine professional programmes for the 2026-27 session. The full list of programmes is given below.

How to Register for HPCET 2026 Counselling?

Candidates should keep their HPCET roll number and personal details handy. The registration process involves filling the online form and uploading documents.

1. Visit the official portal at ecounselling.hp.gov.in.
2. Click on the new registration link for HPCET 2026.
3. Enter personal details and create a login.
4. Upload the required documents in the prescribed format.
5. Pay the applicable counselling fee online.
6. Lock the choices of courses and colleges by preference order.
7. Submit the form and download the confirmation page.

What Happens After Registration?

Seat allotment will be done on the basis of HPCET 2026 rank and the candidate's choice order. Allotment results will be published on the same portal.

Allotted candidates must report for document verification at the assigned institute. They must also pay the admission fee within the notified window to confirm the seat.
