How to Check CCMN 2026 Round 2 Seat Allotment?

The result is available only through the candidate login. Keep the JAM 2026 credentials ready before starting.

  1. Visit the official CCMN portal at ccmn.admissions.nic.in.
  2. Click on the Round 2 seat allotment login link.
  3. Enter the JAM 2026 enrolment ID and password.
  4. Submit the captcha to access the candidate dashboard.
  5. View the allotted institute, programme, and seat category.
  6. Download the provisional allotment letter for records.

How to Confirm the Allotted Seat?

Confirming the seat involves a fixed sequence on the portal. All steps must finish before the deadlines.

  1. Log in and select the willingness option for the allotted seat.
  2. Pay the Seat Acceptance Fee through the online payment gateway.
  3. Upload all required documents in the prescribed format and size.
  4. Submit the application and download the confirmation receipt.

What Are Float, Slide, and Freeze Options?

Candidates allotted a seat in Round 1 had three willingness options. The choice affects what happens in Round 2.

  • Freeze: The Round 1 seat is final. No upgrade is considered.
  • Slide: The candidate stays in the same institute. A higher-preference programme may be allotted.
  • Float: The candidate is open to any higher-preference institute or programme.

Float and Slide candidates may receive an upgrade in Round 2. They do not need to pay the Seat Acceptance Fee again. The earlier payment carries forward to the new allotment.

Why This Matters

Missing the Round 2 fee or document deadline cancels the allotment. The seat returns to the vacant pool for the next round. Candidates lose priority and may have to wait for Special or Spot rounds.

Action Plan for Candidates

  1. Log in and verify the Round 2 allotment immediately on the official portal.
  2. Compare the allotted programme with your earlier preferences.
  3. Choose Freeze, Slide, or Float as your willingness option.
  4. Pay the Seat Acceptance Fee well before the June 24 cut-off.
  5. Upload all documents in the prescribed format without delay.
  6. Keep originals ready for physical reporting at the allotted institute.
Keep an Eye On

CCMN 2026 Round 3 allotment is expected next on the official portal. Track ccmn.admissions.nic.in for Special Round and Spot Round updates.
