My Undergrad Experience at Sikkim University.

Fees and Financial Aid:

The fee was really cheap for my course. I had to pay around 2000 every even semester which means for the duration of 6 semesters I paid 6000 in total. There is a relaxation for fee for ST SC students residing in hostels. The hostels are cheap as well, they charge you around 5k a year and the monthly mess due varies but doesnt go beyond 2k. The provision for scholarships are available for marginalised communities and students coming from a weak financial background. Information about fees and scholarships is clearly mentioned in the Information bulletin and it gets updated every year.

My college review

Fees and Financial Aid:

Our university has the fix rates 2550 for non local students ( out side of sikkim or people living in sikkim but has no identification paper which they call COI ) . AND if you have the COI then just 30 rupess and if you are foreigner then you need to pay 3700 .

The fees structure is very minimal. No huge amount of money is required as admission fee. The university provides only three year course. The first year fees, which is the admission fee, that is Rs.5,600/- and the for the rest two years, the fees is Rs.2,200/-. All it amounts to Rs.10,000/- at the end of three years.
