The college is known for its highly qualified faculty, with most holding PhDs and possessing extensive teaching experience. The faculty-to-student ratio ranges from 1:25 to 1:30, and personal mentors are available for every 30 students. While occasional class cancellations occur, the overall teaching quality is high. The science department, particularly in zoology, botany, and chemistry, is praised for its knowledgeable faculty who engage in research and encourage student participation. Placement opportunities are average, with companies like Wipro, ICICI, and Max New York Life Insurance participating in job fairs.

Approximately 25% of students secure internships and job placements, and 60-70% of eligible students are placed post-graduation. Salary packages range from an average of 5-7 LPA to a high of 26 LPA. Programs like the ELITE internship provide additional experience, and an annual placement summit helps boost job prospects.

Delhi University offers an affordable fee structure, with annual fees between INR 10,000 and INR 33,910, depending on the course. Scholarships and fee concessions are available based on caste, merit, sports, and financial need, including for students with family incomes below INR 4-5 lakh. National scholarship programs and specific scholarships like INSPIRE are also offered. Internship opportunities are prevalent, but limited hostel facilities necessitate off-campus accommodation.

Fees and Financial Aid:

The exact fee that I paid in my second year is 31790 rupees, which got increased from 29000 from that of first year. The tution fees is nominal and the extra charges include that of the infrastructure and lab facilities provided to the science students. Other expenses include fest and freshers amount, student development fee and etc. The fees is same for everyone irrespective of the category they belong to. There is an annual scholarship provided to selected students based on an interview. The scholarship amount varies from 2000 to full fee wavier. Other than that various other scholarship opportunities are available as well, about which you are notified from time to time via the college website and other groups.

Fees and Financial Aid:

I am pursuing bsc in zoology hons . My course fee is approx 30000 per yr from hansraj college . I had to pay the annual fee and registration fee for exam per sem. Fees does not vary with the category .ita is same for all . There are many scholarship available to provide financial aid to the students like dell scholarship, iatc, hansraj vice chancellor scholarship(merit cum) etc . The fee for bsc courses is pretty higher in hansraj college in compare to other , but it is also because of the fact the science Department of the hansraj has the best labs equippedwith required instruments and apparatus. The fees is continuously rising with each year.

The overall fee for the course Bsc(prog) Life sciences is 36500/- per year it is neither increasing not decreasing it's approximately same for each year. It is only the tution fees which includes all the lab fees admission fees and other charges For me it is a bit higher for a government college. Which are meant to have lower fee. There is only one type of scholarship provided by the college that is fee concession based on your cgpa within the year or 12th percentage for freshers.

Fees and Financial Aid:

?Fee Structure: I am paying an annual fee of ?32,155 for my course. The fee structure for Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College is slightly higher compared to some other Delhi University colleges, but it is justified given the state-of-the-art infrastructure (fully air-conditioned campus). ?Year-wise Fees: ?1st Year: ?32,155 ?2nd Year: ~?32,155 (Subject to minor university hikes, usually ?1k-?2k) ?3rd Year: ~?32,155 ?Fee Breakdown: The fee is not just tuition; it is divided into several heads: ?Tuition Fee: This is nominal (approx. ?180/year). ?College Facilities & Maintenance: This forms the major chunk (approx. ?10,000 - ?15,000) covering the AC, library, and lab maintenance. ?Student Welfare Fund: Covers cultural societies, sports, and events. ?Development Fund: For campus infrastructure. ?University Charges: Exam fees and enrollment fees are separate or included depending on the specific semester notice. ?Fees for Other Categories: The academic fee is generally uniform for General, OBC, SC, and ST categories. However, students from the PwD (Person with Benchmark Disability) category are usually exempted from the major fee components and only have to pay a nominal amount (approx. ?2,000 - ?3,000) largely towards the Student Welfare Fund. ?Scholarship & Financial Aid: The college offers several financial support systems for students who find the fees difficult to manage: ?Fee Concession/Financial Support Scheme: Every year college provides scholarship to students worth rs 10,000 to those who fulfills criteria of attending 75% attendance and securing 80%in previous class.
