- really love the infrastructure and ict labs. Really huge the campus is which also helps in the over all vibe of the college
- love the cafeteria of my college and the coffee sold is also banging
- seniors are really nice and there are multiple societies you can join for your overall improvement
Dislikes
- the staff members can sometimes be really hard to understand and they take completing the syllabus for granted
- the canteen food can be really overwhelming and not finger licking
- there are places where cleanliness is not maintained
Course Curriculum Overview
economics is a really great yet difficult course and prepared us really well for the real world scenarios as we learn how to do forecasting in the corporate world. Improvement can be done with us interacting with companies and actually having conversations with experts so that we are familiar abou things actually work. The exams are moderate to difficult and you just cant pass them with one day prior study session.
Fees and Financial Aid
I am paying Rs21000 yearly for pursuing bachelor in arts for delhi university. My major is economics. I've paid some amount for giving the cuet and for filling the delhi university form as well. There are a few scholarships programs and internships which students can avail.
Campus Life
College life is really good and you get to interact with really cool seniors through multiple societies. Infrastucture is also really beautiful and very DU-like. ICT Lab is well maintained and classes are also being held regularly. There are multiple student run clubs and sports teams as well which contribute to the overall character development of students.
Admission
Sri Venkateswara College has a really good NIRF ranking and is actuaslly quite good in the curriculams as well. I did apply to other college like HINDU, Miranda, SRCC etc but didnt score enough to get into these. I didnt particularly apply to private universities because DU was always the goal! The admission process is quite similar to any other college admission process, nothing rigorous
Faculty
the faculty student ratio is well maintained but the teachers seem to think that us students are really intelligent and that we know about concepts already so they sometime tends to skip topics which really gets to cover later when we are self studying or preparing for exams.
Night Life
Students usually unwind in the satya niketan lane which is right in front of the college. There are also pg's and hostels available. Nightlife is also really great and people really get outside there homes to enjoy the whole vibe.
