Course Curriculum Overview

4

I would rate my course 7.5/10. the curriculum key foundations and theoretical structures were factors behind taking this course for my academic future, It emphasizes my analytical ability as well as gives me conceptual clarity which is very useful in the next competetive exams . It is well for academic pursuits but limits when it comes to real world applications due to its theory oreinted nature. students often require external suppport such as internships and certifcates, projects etc . Area of improvements will be more practical based components in the syllabus such as case based problems etc. the examination system consists of internal assesments during the sem and one end semester examination per paper. the exams are usually moderate to challenging

Internships Opportunities

4

The internship drive are facilitated by the placement cell fo the college. deloiite with a stipend of 8 to 15K, ZS with a stipend of 10 to 20K per month and companies like ICICI bank offer 5-12K as a stipend every month. Mainly aptitude rounds, consulting projects, financial tasks and marketing projects.

Placement Experience

5

It is steadily improving, usually students from semester 5 become elegible for campus placements . Some of the comapnies that regularly visit are Deloitte, ICIC bank, ZS associates and others. The average package ranges between 4 to 6 LPA and the highest package goes upto 12LPA. Usually 7-8 cgpa ones are placed or are elegible for the campus placements, my plans after getting the degree is to pursure higher studies along with relevant internships

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise fees is approximately 40,000 for a year. tuition fees is 22,000 approx ,admission fees is 1,000 approx, registration fees is 500, developmental fees. is 6,000 approx, Lab fees is 5000 , Library and other miscellaneous charges: 2500, caution fees which is refundable is : 3000 approx making it a total of 40,000 in 1st year Maths hons course. It is very slightly increasing. Scholarships:taneja foundation scholarship for any 10 students of any course is given which is based on merit plus financial need basis

Campus Life

4

The annual fest of ARSD is called TIDE which is usually held in the month of march and the annual diwali mela AKSA is held during or near diwali break, the biggest freshers annual known as AARAMBH is held in sept to ocotober after the freshers ahve arrived. The library has a huge variety of textbooks, reference books and even academic journals related to specific courses, both physical and online resources are available. Wi-fi connectivity is available across the campus, the college offers sports such as cricket, badminton, basketball and football and students can also join NCC,NSS , consulting societies and much more.

Admission

I chose Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College because of its academic reputation and mainly its nirf ranking . Compared to other colleges i applied to, ARSD offered a abetter academic environment and experienced faculty. I applied to other colleges such as Hindu, Hansraj and Kirori Mal college but but admission confirmation came only from ARSD mainly due to high competition and high cutoff in CUET UG where even a minute difference in exams create a change in the seat allocation. Admissions in ARSD are conducted through CUET and delhi university's CSAS portal . the elegibility is passing certificate of class 12 as well as required subjects for the course u want to get into . the cutoff are course and category specific

Faculty

3

The faculty to student ratio is approximately 1:25-30. Most of the classes are manageable in size opening chances for doubts and clear interaction with teachers. Faculty members are genuinely nice and approachable, Mr Anil Kumar Rajak is always open to doubts, arranges extra classes and also teaches very well. There are total 3 core exams in mathematics and total of 6-7 exams in each semester, maths core are really theoreotical based and are hard to prove but consistency can make one score good, approx 15 out of 100 fail

Night Life

5

Since ARSD is a day college, the night life is relatively quit, classes closed by max 5-6 pm and the cafeteria is opened till 7 maximum. the college library provided extended library hours during exam season too. the hanout spots are most usually the cafeterias or eateries in Satya Niketan or a short drive to Connaught place or dhaula kuan. The areas are mostly safe for students but little precautions are recommended

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course can be a little bit too, overwhelming as the curriculum is really outdated as compare to what skills are required in the real world, but the introduction of SEC and VAC subjects have really helped add value to the course

Placemenets of the overall colleges are good, especially for commerce related streams, however for science streams they are just well. Highest package varies around 12-15lpa and average is 5-9lpa. 60% students get placed while others either prefer higher studies or get rejected. I plan to go for higher studies.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of Hansraj College is quite active. You are eligible to sit for campus placement offers from 5th semester onwards. Companies like Deloitte, capgemini arw frequent recruiters for several posts and positions. The highest offered package is somewhere around 22000 with the average being at 700000-800000. Not all students get placed on campus, however thr hands on training and learning makes you industry ready, making you eligible amd worthy to apply for off campus placement opportunities. Many students prefer not to sit for campus placements and rather opt for higher studies after graduation. I plan to do the same after getting my undergraduate degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I think the BSc Statistics (H) offered by Sri Venkateshwara College has been quite relevant and comprehensive in content. The core courses such as probability, inference, regression, and econometrics were the major reasons for opting for the subject of statistics. It provides us in-depth analytical training that is necessary for higher education and work in the field of data, though there is a need for exposure to software/tools as well. The semester-wise examination, which is moderately tough

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is just like any other college, and you need to do a lot of the skill enhancement by yourself. Here, you will learn something, but not everything that is relevant. The professors will teach according to the syllabus, be it really relevant in real life or not. Everything that you will be learning will be relevant for career in this field, but not enough. You require to put some extra efforts to gain more knowledge and practice.

Students typically become eligible from 3rd year/6th semester onwards for most companies. Some internships and tech roles may be available to 2nd-year students depending on the company criteria. Placement Percentage: Usually, 70–85% of eligible students get placed, depending on the stream. Highest placement rates are often in Computer Science, Economics, and Commerce streams. My plan is to become a software engineer.
