Likes
- The infrastructure of adbu is very nice, the environment is just too good, it's literally like a park or something. It's really good for study environment very peaceful. And the people have the habit of being very polite to eachother n everyone frnly
- The falcuty in Assam Don Bosco is moderate I should say. According to my experience of teaching skills, I rate them in modarate, but when it comes to dealing and communication, these faculties in Assam Don Bosco I should say they're very understandab
- The one thing again I liked about this university is that, the way they held any occasions or events, they organise in a very good way. I feel personally that all this is because of unity among eachother that every programs and event get successful.
Dislikes
- The habit of not using English as common language in the campus. We know that adbu is English medium college. Or even if Hindi includes also it's fine. But using all the language isn't a good thing for me and this is justy personal opinion
- The placement job is not hundreds percent guaranteed.
- The opportunities in my platforms are very less
Course Curriculum Overview
The main reason for choosing my course (bachelor of pharmacy) is because I've always wanted to study medicine. Faced a lot failures in other entrance exams, adbu gave me a choice to study medicine related course.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure in Assam Don Bosco is very affordable as compared to other college according to my experience and resrarch especially when it comes to opt for b. Pharm, ive also taken addmission at two colleges which cost double of my present college i.e adbu college. So the few structure for 1st semester is 78 thousand, where I have to pay extra 10 thousand as deposite, and this it sums up to 88 thousand. For second semester the fee remains same, that is 80 thousand. While for third semester the fee is 60 thousand. And fourth semester is again 80 thousand. Fifth semester cost 60 thousand Sixth semester costs 80 thousand Seventh semester costs 60 thousand Eighth semester costs 80 thousand. The over all packages for this entire course is 5.8 lakhs. The scholarship is down for nsp, as well as for students who gets 80 percentage and above in 12th standard.
Campus Life
There had adbu music fest on Oct 23, which was awesome, had to see many talented students. Aslo there has advent christmas on 28th November. Sports was taken on 18th and 19th November, where I saw my batch student doing really good, getting champion trophy was the best part to witness. All the faculties, principle came to witness. It was good overall
Admission
The admission process, is that we have to give entrance exam. Or for some students they easily get though if their 12th marks are good. The eligibility also depends on category wise. For example like there is a seat reservation for st.
Faculty
The faculties in Assam Don Bosco is not bad they're nice. But there are some selected good ones and some okok type faculties. My favourite one is sur Peter as he is very understandable to every students. He listens to every problem students are facing and he is every ready to help us out nytine, anywhere .
Night Life
Adbu campus have many cafes and canteens for lunch, dinner and breakfast. They're really affordable and we get nice foods. My favourite one is cafe of pavallion where they open from iam to till 8.30 pm
