Review of my college

Well the placement of our college is said to be nice. If you completel the course without any backlogs then you are thought to be eligible for applying for placement. Most of students get the placement through the college placement cell.

Well we have a exam every month it seems. Labs are of 4 hours time. In this period you qre not allowed to sit anywhere in the lab. After 4 hours of lab there is 30 minutes of break and then another 3 hours of theory class.

Placement and job opportunity is said to be nice for our college. If you pass the course without any backlogs then you are allowed to apply for placement which held in college. most of the students who do not have backlogs get the jobs from the college.

Our college celebrate republic day and host flags on both republic day and Independence day. there is an anual festival called euphism where singers dj from india are brought for one night to perform in the college.

Expensive i would say. The admission fee at my time was about 90k. Per semester it is 65k. Hostel facility is different. It is on the expensive side as there wre not so many government pharmacy colleges in assam. There is only one which provides b. Pharm degree.

There is scholarship facility but not for all. If you score the highest in final semester exams or you have to be a minority to avail the scholarship facility. As i am from general category students so i have not got the scholarship but some of my friends got the scholarship.

There are about 15 labs in our college. As they arenfor different courses b. Pharm, d. Pharm and m. Pharm. We do have some expensive equipments used in pharmaceutical industry. In my state my college is best non-government college out there in pharmacy sector.

No i haven't opted for hostel facility as my home is near my college. The fee structure is 33-35k per semester as far as i concern. There is generator facility, pure water facility, free WiFi. Overall the environment is good is hostel but it is on the expensive side.

Yes they are indeed helpful. They interect with us on a regular basis. The faculty is also good. The seniors want our involvement as much as possible in college ceremonies and functions. They are helpful.

1st we had to give an entrance test. then we must pass the interview held by the faculty of our college. If you pass both the exams then the college will provide a merit list of students who got the admission

The faculty at 1st was nice. There were some very intelligent teachers around. But as the pharmacy sector started to evolve in assam more and more private pharmacy colleges opened. They recruited other college's teachers by providing them more money. Now there are some new faculty in our college.
