Faculty: the faculty of economics and political science from which I've studied are good.
Sports facilities: sports facilities of khalsa college is of top notch.
Societies: societies in our college are also good .

Dislikes

Fests: there are very less events conducted in our college

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose economics honours because I like economics and also the placement is decent in this course. Faculty student ratio is like 1:30 . All teachers are well qualified with phds and also some has worked with the government. Term exam are little early now this course is also difficult

Internships Opportunities

Interships are generally provided by our placement cell only. Major companies do offer internship to the students of my college with average stipend lies around 6 to 8 thousand rupees. Overall the interships offered are good.

Placement Experience

The placement season starts in the month of March generally for the third year students only. Highest package of my college goes around 22 lakhs and average package is around 6 lakhs . My plan is to pursue master after this degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees in Delhi University is generally low as it is a government institute and also fees hike is there but it is not much . There are some scholarships also and also there's a placement cell in the college which provide the placement.

Campus Life

Annual fest of SGTB Khalsa college is lashkara which is conducted in the month of February. library is well equipped and also there's access of e Library also. Sports facilities are best of our college in du. Societies are also good and the top ones are enactus and placement cell.

Admission

I've given cuet exam for the admission. It is released by the nta in the month of February for ug program. For 3 subjects fees is 500 and so on. The duration of the exam was so long it can be reduced if conducted properly

Course Curriculum Overview:

Economics is one such course which I feel complements every other discipline and since it talks about human behaviour, so it also teaches us a lot about the real world. The timing of exams can be changed by delaying exams by some time so that we get enough time for preparation. Also, the vacations are very less due to which people from far away cannot go to their homes.

Placement Experience:

According to my knowledge the college provides decent placement opportunities which are available to final year students. Average package is 7.5 lakhs per annum and highest package was around 13.5 lakhs per annum last year.

USME DTU Economics Hons review

Placement Experience:

placement and internship fares are regularly conducted on campus where various companies which are mostly start-ups visit to recruit students for internships and entry level roles. Students become eligible for internships from the first year itself. placement opportunities are generally available after the completion of the full degree and only final year. Students are eligible to apply for full-time rules. last during our last internship and placement fair over 20 companies visited and recruited almost 150 candidates.There are no separate records distinguishing internship from placement.The highest package reported for economics honours is around 12 lakhs per annum and the average package is approximately five lakhs per annum.As per my future plans,I intend to pursue a masters degree after completing my undergraduate course.

DTU has a calming effect!

Placement Experience:

For USME, FMCG and Financial companies are the ones which are put in place. The only reason is that those are the companies where we can add value and placements of both courses of USME happens together and combined if I say around 75% students are placed. My plan though is to join GIPE after my graduation ends this year.

DTU USME is as good as it's engineering college.

Placement Experience:

DTU because East campus is more known for USME placements revolve around us. Now core companies of our sectors are the ones that deals with finance, insurance or stocks. So nearly 20-30 companies of that space or sector hires over 100 students of BAE every year.

Many companies come as ever since USME has been installed at the east campus the tie-ups with the brands happened before that. So we were etaught accordingly the war corporate wanted us and that is how this has been done with solid precision and thus our placements have never jolted.

Our college has a very active and effective placement cell. Major companies like Goldman Sachs, Bain among many others come on campus for not just placements but also internships. Average and Median packages are between 8 and 10 lakh per annum, with highest packages going up to 25 lakhs. Many also go for postgraduate education, such as MBA after CAT, or to reputed colleges like the DSE for MA.

Sgtb khalsa , hidden gem of NC DU

The college is purely based on merit list except for the seat reserved for Sikh minority. However the crowd here is very mindful and cohesive. People you start getting along with will greet you wherever they see you and always up to help u with anything u want/need. The staff is equally active and works for students through students.
