Course Curriculum Overview

The Eco Hons batch is completely optimal with a proper teacher-student ratio. The faculty is excellent. Not only do they give regular assignments and work to keep you in sync with the curriculum, but they also give extra tutorial lectures for doubt-clearing sessions. Even though Eco Hons exams are very tough to score, they still give you a competitive outlook on the curriculum.

Placement Experience

The placement course in the college is nominal. Being a fresher i don't possess much knowledge about this. All i know is that the college provides average packages through placements with a good success ratio for the students.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is completely minimal for a course like that of Eco Hons. You only have to pay around 23 thousand rupees for an entire year while availing full resources of the college. The readings available are nominally priced and the college library ensures that you don't need to go looking for extra books outside the college.

Campus Life

The campus life is excellent. When someone says that north campus colleges in DU are overrated they are completely wrong. You will avail new opportunities and resources on the north campus, unlike the others. You'd get to join many societies, both cultural and academic. For instance, I'm a part of the mun and yp society in my college and I'm glad to say that most of the closest friendships were forged here

Admission

I gave my cuet exam in which i opted for eco Hons from du for which you have to give a language exam, a compulsory maths test and two other subjects. Besides that you'd also have to fill the priority list of colleges you want to attend in the du csas form in order to get your preferred college of choice on the basis of your cuet score.

USME DTU Economics Hons review

Placement Experience:

placement and internship fares are regularly conducted on campus where various companies which are mostly start-ups visit to recruit students for internships and entry level roles. Students become eligible for internships from the first year itself. placement opportunities are generally available after the completion of the full degree and only final year. Students are eligible to apply for full-time rules. last during our last internship and placement fair over 20 companies visited and recruited almost 150 candidates.There are no separate records distinguishing internship from placement.The highest package reported for economics honours is around 12 lakhs per annum and the average package is approximately five lakhs per annum.As per my future plans,I intend to pursue a masters degree after completing my undergraduate course.

DTU has a calming effect!

Placement Experience:

For USME, FMCG and Financial companies are the ones which are put in place. The only reason is that those are the companies where we can add value and placements of both courses of USME happens together and combined if I say around 75% students are placed. My plan though is to join GIPE after my graduation ends this year.

DTU USME is as good as it's engineering college.

Placement Experience:

DTU because East campus is more known for USME placements revolve around us. Now core companies of our sectors are the ones that deals with finance, insurance or stocks. So nearly 20-30 companies of that space or sector hires over 100 students of BAE every year.

Many companies come as ever since USME has been installed at the east campus the tie-ups with the brands happened before that. So we were etaught accordingly the war corporate wanted us and that is how this has been done with solid precision and thus our placements have never jolted.

There is a placement cell in Hansraj College which does provides placements of highest package around 25 lakh of last year and being median package around 7 lakhs, but this for selective courses like economics and BCom Honours and computer science Honours & few of mathematics honours while rest of the courses required to have different kind of skill sets can also go for placement depending up on the role that the companies bring to be hired for

DTU is Totally Worth Spending Time At!

Placement Experience:

Campus placements have been good from what I have noticed this year. BBA and BAE students get almost the same packages and same companies hire the students. Average package for BAE students is 5.5 Lakhs and for BBA it's a little high at 6 lakhs or so.

Our college has a very active and effective placement cell. Major companies like Goldman Sachs, Bain among many others come on campus for not just placements but also internships. Average and Median packages are between 8 and 10 lakh per annum, with highest packages going up to 25 lakhs. Many also go for postgraduate education, such as MBA after CAT, or to reputed colleges like the DSE for MA.

Sgtb khalsa , hidden gem of NC DU

The college is purely based on merit list except for the seat reserved for Sikh minority. However the crowd here is very mindful and cohesive. People you start getting along with will greet you wherever they see you and always up to help u with anything u want/need. The staff is equally active and works for students through students.
