Placement opportunities are good but not as expected in the current trend. It totally depends on students to grasp their opportunities, but the college takes every step to place the interested student by giving them training, finding them internships. Not all the companies visit the campus, but a company like TCS recruits a bulk amount of students. If a student is placed in one company, the more likely will not attend any other on-campus drives.

Symposium - Each dept will conduct technical symposium for other college students Cultural - Every dept will compete in this event. They have both onstage and offstage events. One of the most interesting events celebrated in college. Sports Day - Each dept compete with each other in sports. College Day - All the students will be recognized and awarded for their performance throughout the year.

The fee structure changes for the govt quota and management quota students. Govt Quota - RS. 40000/year Since the college is accredited to the NBA, there is an additional fee amount. The fee structure is quite feasible when compared to other colleges. They avail of many scholarships to particular students. They provide transparency in the fee breakdown.

The strength of boys is comparatively high. There are many clubs inside the college like Rotaract club, NSS, Entrepreneurship club, a club for new ideas, dance and music. There is also a special club for girl students named SHE (See Her Empowered). The sports are available only after college hours. There is a big ground with all the necessary kits. There are many competitions held within the adept or against each dept.

The alumni network and the senior students are very helpful, not only guiding us during the placement but also for the admissions in higher studies.

I got admission in LICET through Government quota, that is, Anna University counseling. I opted for the college as it is in the center of the Chennai city and also has the brand name LOYOLA and LICET upholds the brand name. The admission process included counseling followed by visiting the college where there explain the remaining process.

The relation between the faculty and students is good. The staff have well knowledge of the subject and are skilled. The faculties go beyond their extent to help students. They also conduct seminars and guest talks which will be very useful. There are also 3 class committee meetings in which the students can express their thoughts.
