College review

All I have is positive remarks about my college. My college and its faculties have helped me grow as a professional. It even has a recreational hall where we used to spend time whenever we felt we need inner peace.

Our course which is Engineering needs a lot of updation in the syllabus. Eg, in a subject we learned about IC that was used in the olden days. Having those chapters is fine, but we missed learning the new upcoming ICs. The exams and labs were very chilled.

My college brought in a good number of recruiters. Yes, it does provide internships. However, I haven't attended the recruitment process as I had other ideas. Companies like Zoho, Tech Mahindra, TCS,BNP Paribas , Valeo, etc visited our college campus for job provision.

My college conducts technical, cultural, and sports events. The cultural event is called Engenia and sports events occur consecutively one for each year. Technical symposiums take place each year with different departments organizing various events.

My college doesn't demand an expensive fee. We have two different fee structures. One for the students coming through Counseling and the other for students placed with a merit list based on the vacant seats after the Counseling gets over. Counseling students have to pay a lesser fee compared to merit-listed students.

My college offered scholarships to the first engineering student in each family. It was mostly given to the students based on the annual income of the parents. I did not receive any scholarship as I had an elder sibling who did engineering as well.

My college appreciates extracurricular activities which include games , gym , workshops, and internships. It doesn't gets biased when it comes to race , religion , gender and politics, and economic status.

Yes. I stayed in the lady's hostel which is placed within my college campus. We had a min of 2 to a max of 8 sharing rooms. My hostel accommodated most of my college students. Only a few stayed in outside PGs.

My college senior students were really helpful whenever we needed them. They shared their experience with us. When it was our time to organize the cultural , we gained a lot of knowledge on what competitions we should conduct.

My college focuses not only on academics but also on the holistic formation of the students which made me choose my college. Also, it is a Christian institution being run by Jesuit fathers. I got admission to my college through Counseling at Anna University.

My college has professors who have sound knowledge in their field. I haven't seen a faculty who is unaware or has little knowledge of his/her subject. Moreover, the teachers make the sessions interactive with the presentations on display.
