Course Curriculum Overview
According me course curriculum was nice and industry related. People thinks that the government curriculum is not updated as what industry want but I think it's according to the industry only. And they conduct exams after every 1 month after completion of each and every chapter.
Internships Opportunities
The college provide many internships as well as full time role .So the overall internship was good .They also provide government internships such as -BSNL. Then there will be separate review for internship and they will check what students learn in the internship and what projects they did .If the staff is not satisfied with your projects or intern they will not accept your internship . I completed four projects based on html ,css,python,java etc. I had done hotel management system ,tailoring shop , traffic system based project . .
Placement Experience
As the college is located near the IT hub so lot of opportunities are there and many companies come to hire the students like BOSCH, SAMSUNG, ONEBILL, INCTURE etc. and they provide very good package also. The average package is 10 lacs.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure of the college is moderate anyone afford that the fee of each year is around 15000. But for admission you have to give state exam after clearing that only you can take admission. And regarding the financial aid they have alot of scholarship schemes by which Student can claim.
Campus Life
Overall experience regarding the college is good they have time to time events and also sports meet every year. Department function is there like SSQ. Also classroom activities is there. GCT have lot of club where you can participate and can avail benefits for your future and also gets future opportunities.
Hostel Facilities
For girls they have very nice hostel with bunk beds. But they don't have power backup and Mess is quite good but some time food is not good. And nearby there is lot of rental rooms is available and also lot of resturant and other market is there. You just have to fill the forms and submit fee and if you want hostel for that we have to go to hostel office for all procedures
Admission
For bachelor course you must have 12th pass and then you have to clear the state exam to get the admission. And reservation is also there for Backward class students and other caste. Regarding the difficulty of the exam it's some time difficult and some time moderate.
Faculty
All the faculty members are PhD. Holders and we'll experienced. They have very good knowledge with good practical knowledge also very interactive to each and every student. The availability of the faculty members is also good they have very good staff.
Interview Experience
For admission we have to give entrance exam for local students it is easy to get admission but for the students from other states they have to give entrance like .JEE ... In group discussion it is depend on the company coordinators who are conducting GD but for me they ask about the technology and how we can use it in our college and choose any topic and talk about it. In college they will take one extra class of two hours for placement preparation in that they will teach aptitude topics and conduct GD,interviews and all and they will conduct SSQ also in that they will conduct quizzes and interviews and in the end for winners there will be price distribution function .
Night Life
Library is there and gym also in college from Monday to Saturday for boys before 10 pm they have to enter the hostel n girls before 6pm . Famous places are Ganesha temple ,hangout ,yaari ,kappi 2.o, tea shop ,Samosa shop near college . Every year students have separate hostels
