PGDM IB is a course that teaches many important things about the international market and increases one's chance of getting recruited by international companies. There are very few colleges that offer this course and K J Somaiya is one among them. 

Highlights: 

• In International Business (IB), many important things such as International market research, Export-Import, Supply chain management, Business strategy models are being taught along with the main topics of MBA. 
• Many foreign languages such as Spanish, Mandarin, etc are also being taught so that one can communicate and do business easily all over the world. 
• The course structure and its faculty teach how big foreign companies have made their business successful and how they entered India and made themselves a brand.
• The college also conducts seminars and events regularly where they invite college alumni to tell the students about their journey and the challenges they had faced during their college days. 
• The college has also affiliated with 10 foreign universities for students exchange program to these universities so that the students can get some knowledge and experience of the working culture at big corporate companies.

So, doing a PDM IB from K J Somaiya is definitely worth it as it will offer you many opportunities.

IIM Rohtak is one of the most prestigious business schools in India and the oldest amongst the newer IIMs. It has recently been completed for ten years. Many of my colleagues have done their PG from IIM Rohtak. Based on the brief interaction I had with them here are some interesting details about the campus:

• IIM Rohtak has an advantage of location proximity to NCR and because of this, the institution has a robust corporate connection as Rohtak is only an hour away from New Delhi. This gives IIM Rohtak an upper hand over other new IIMs
• The factor which differentiates IIM Rohtak from other IIMs is that their placement reports are CRISILaudited which only a few IIMs do.
• IIM Rohtak is also one of the few B-schools in India that is CFA-affiliated.
• Its course curriculum is aligned with the CFA curriculum. This is a plus point for all those who want to or are pursuing CFA along with their MBA or are planning to do it after their MBA.
• IIM Rohtak has a diversified culture with a unique mix of students from all backgrounds with the right mix of engineers and non-engineers.
• Every year a cultural fest is organized named Infusion,a three-day event held in January.
• The IIM Rohtak campus is among the best of the new generation IIMs, with lush green surroundings and a very calm and positive atmosphere.

In conclusion, IIM Rohtak is an outstanding B-School, so if you are fortunate enough to get admitted, don’t miss that chance. IIMs provide you a platform and an opportunity to build your career, so make the most out of it.

For MBA, Jaipur National University will not be a good option, as it is a NAAC B grade institute. 

Faculty:

The faculty of this university is not very interactive with the students. They have good knowledge about their subjects. However, they are not aware of the latest development and technologies.

Infrastructure: 

• The infrastructure of this college is outdated. The computers available in the computer labs are very slow and most of them are not in working condition. 
• The chairs in the lab are also very poor and are not comfortable for the students to sit and attend classes. 
• The food served at the hostels is not good. Also, the management doesn't even respond to the complaints of students.

Placements:

• The placements are good enough as the university has tie-ups with some popular companies in both technical and non-technical fields. 
• Students receive job offers for the roles of software/website developer, database administrator, and outbound calling processes. 
• Companies such as SAP, Capgemini, QMS India, Infosys visit the campus for interviews but the number of students recruited by these companies is very less.
• In the recent placement drive, the highest CTC offered at Jaipur National University was 12 LPA. 

It will be better to avoid this university for MBA and look for some other better colleges such as Suresh Gyan Vihar University in Jaipur. 

NITIE is famous for its excellence in the field of Operations Management. But SIOM would be a good option to pursue this course. The college has earned awards and recognition with a USP syllabus. 

The faculty members have a broad mind in terms of studies and cooperation. They help the students in their fields of interest. 

SIOM has a strong alumni network. They have ties with the industries around Nashik which helps the students to have good industrial visits.

The placement opportunities are good and are getting better every year. There are big brands and companies that visit the campus.

Therefore, SIOM is a better option to study Operations Management than NITIE. SIOM provides you ample opportunities and will also help you in your career.
